Required for use with a headphone amplifier that offers only a 6.3mm jack socket, this "BENFEI Premium 6.35mm (1/4 inch) Male to 3.5mm (1/8 inch) Female Stereo Audio Cable Adapter Gold Plated, 1 Meter" will allow standard 3.5mm jack headphones to be connected while also offering a modest cable extension that one pair demands.The connectors are all metal, not plastic-encased and should therefore ensure a long service life while also being largely damage-proof. Connectivity was excellent with no crackling caused by a loose connection at either end, a known issue with some Chinese-made examples. Similar, there appeared to be no difference in volume or audio quality when it was used.Only one other Benfei product has been personally used and that too performs well!
