Paranoia
This book never failed to leave me discombobulated whenever I sat down to read it, and I couldn't wait to see what was next. Unsettling, prophetic, strange and 'Kafkaesque' like I had heard about. Easy to read and a nice edition too, I'll definitely be reading it again.

Deckle edges unexpected.
The deckle edges (rough edges) are not expected, since there is no clear indication.P.S. The Castle bought on Book Depository doesn’t have deckle edges, so I think it is a binding error.

A Very Interesting book
Only complaint being, not to read the author's note at the beginning of the book, as this can spoil the ending!!!
