This oil must be magic. I researched MCT oils and then found that this oil has the one ingredient that speeds up the body metabolism and also keeps your brain so very clear. So, I tried it. I just bought another bottle. No upset stomach from it or any problems that I had with another MCT oil. I am on a diet because of prednisone being used in a life threatening situation. Prednisone packs on pounds and it is very hard to loose that weight. So, started my diet and then the third week I added 1 teaspoon. No problems with digestion, by the end of the week I was at 1 tablespoon and now after 10 days I lost 6 pounds with no huge workouts as I have very reactive arthritis and psoriatic arthritis too. I use a teaspoon each time I eat. I make my salad dressing in it. I am up to 4 teaspoons per day. My mind is so clear and I feel wonderful. I only weight myself once per week and I was so incredibly surprised to see weight just falling off and I am on a balanced diet too. This stuff is a miracle. Try it for yourself. I am blown away. Have been using brain octane on workdays with my morning coffee and it has definitely helped curbing my appettite and I feel like I have more energy in the morning. There have been a couple of days where my stomach would cramp up from it but not cause any toilet explosions, just cramping. I use XCT on non-workdays.Also I have to agree with a couple of other posts here in that the 16oz bottle is terrible and creates a mess every time I use it. It is dissappointing because the 32oz bottle for my XCT oil has a nice lip on the opening and pours nicely.

I have become addicted to this stuff. It wakes up my brain. Expensive, yes, and the bottle needs to be redesigned. Do not pour from this bottle you will lose much in the flow down the side. I have an 850 ml glass jar that I immediately transfer all of the oil into. The jar has a wide mouth so I can then dip my teaspoon or tablespoon into the oil and transfer into my coffee or smoothy without spilling a drop. My jar used to contain coconut oil and is clear glass. I'm not sure about the oil sensitivity to light so I keep it shut in cupboard not out on counter, but I think it is much better anyway to store oil products in glass rather than plastic.

I ordered this as prescribed by my naturopath. I didn't notice any physical benefit. But I do really like Bulletproof and all of their ellimination/keto diet information. I like the company and would try other products of theirs, but this octane didn't do anything noticeable for my brain.
