The old cracked along the bottom. I wasnt sure if i ordered the right one because the pump i have wasnt listed but it fit perfect.

Got me back up and running
Maybe I didn't get all the water out over the winter and it cracked, but my original strainer housing was leaking ever so slightly this year. I could not believe how expensive this part was, but it was way less than replacing the whole assembly, that is for sure. And way less expensive than pumping all the pool water on to the lawn if the leak got worse.It was not difficult to install and fit perfectly. No more leak.
