It would get brittle & just test up, the film is very thin. **Q: Is this film one way? I cannot see out...can the painters see in?** A: I don’t think so. I used a lot of this product to tape off my kitchen cabinets prior to floor refinishing. Think blue dry cleaning bag. I would call it transparent. If you couldn’t see through it, are you sure you unfolded it 100% ? **Q: Is this film a polyester film? What type of plastic is it?** A: Overall Thickness .....no other composite specs listed....contact 3M for specific secret recipe...lol 0.35 mil **Q: What size blade Is required for this roll?** A: The device comes with a cutting blade for both the tape and the paper. I've used 9" paper with decent results. The device is a little weak, and the tape tends to stray off the paper if you're not careful.
