This is absolutely the best iron supplement I found. Not only it is odorless, colorless and tasteless (like water) and it's easy to take. It causes absolutely no GI side effects. I tired 10 different heme and non hemem iron supplements prior to this one and all cause terrible GI side effects! I had labs verify it's efficacy. However for some that have absorption issues i.e. from low stomach acid, SIBO, leaky gut, h pylori, celiac etc. this supplement alone won't cure anemia. FIrst the root cause will need to be addressed (in my case low stomach acid cause malabsorption and I was not absorbing even this iron on 300 mg/day dose). If your ferritin, cbc, iron panle labs aren't improving on this product start looking for root cause of your iron defficiency and address that ASAP. Don't give up!

Purchased this a few months back but haven't been using it everyday like I should. Making this comment so I can give you an accountability update once me and my twins go back for an updated iron test at the doctor's office. Great product and I've read reputable studies that states collodial forms are a good way to get things like iron back into your body. 5/29

This is not real iron at all. I am so upset because I have runners and my girls have anima and have been taking this for months probably spent 100s of dollars on this and it does not work. Is not real.

So this is an interesting product. Unfortunately with the timing of the different iron supplements I was taking I can't say conclusively if this was the one that helped my iron levels. I have never heard of nano iron and have take iron bisglycinate chelate in the past. That iron, as do all (non nano, I guess) irons have a very gross metallic taste to them. Fun fact, the metallic taste/smell isn't from metal but from your body having a chemical reaction when the iron hits the oil on your skin or other cells in your body. This just tastes like water, so I was surprised, but it does make sense especially upon reading further about nano iron. Iron can be pretty rough on your body, especially in supplement form, even as a chelate. There have been studies to show that nano iron increases absorbtion and stops this damage that iron supplements do to your body. There is a lot of fear surrounding "nano" stuff but in this case your body does need iron and it makes it safer. So the price of this, the ease of use (just like drinking water, swoosh around a teaspoon daily), the absorption/safety profile, this is a no brainer. However it's just so hard for me to wrap my head around this being anything than "just water". The science is behind it but I need more time to see if this supplement alone can keep my iron levels steady. In addition even though this is supposed to be a safer, more easily absorbed form of iron I had a pretty strong feeling of being able to breathe better when taking normal chelated liquid iron - the downside to this being that the taste was awful, and this one just tastes like water. I didn't really feel this supplement like that, but again I didn't feel the chelate pills either so take that as you will. I am still somewhat on the fence about this product as it seems in a way "too good to be true". I will come back to update the review if I can isolate that this is maintaining my iron levels, and would have no problem switching to this long term if that was the case due to the science behind it, the low cost, safety and ease of use.

Update: I had my bloodwork done after using this for 3 months and there was zero change for me. Dr recommended taking the higher dose (2tsp daily) and recheck in 3 months. I will update again then! I was on the search for a natural iron pill supplement that didn't contain dyes when I came across liquid iron. I was concerned how a liquid iron supplement would taste, but this is surprisingly tasteless! I get labs for my anemia again in July - I will update once I have results and can comment on how well it absorbs and raises hemoglobin.

It took about a month for this tonic to help me cope with my iron deficiency. But mu depression, lack of energy , lethargy are significantly reduced. I am happy with the purchase. As someone who is constantly needs to check my iron absorption, I will probably keep buying this again and again. Already on my third bottle. Price could have been a little lesser though.

This is my second bottle of the liquid iron and my hair is still falling out like crazy. I'm super tired, I'll take it with me to the Dr. And she will test it to see if it's a good iron supplement or not.
