Not for milk steaming
These thermometers trapped steam inside within a week of use in coffee shop, making it very hard to read. I was disappointed and would not recommend for milk steaming.

Excellent quality
It is expensive but worth every penny. a great high quality product. The build is thick and the egg shell finish paint won’t peel off. Looks professional. I love it! It holds frothed milk for up to 3 cappuccinos and maybe 4. my plan is to learn how to make milk froth designs like the baristas.

Works great for home use
Hasn't gotten any steam trapped in the display so far, but we only use it to make 2-4 lattes a day at home. The display is larger than the ones I use at work, and it is easy to read.
