Ultra PRO Baseball Holder with Gold Base

Had to order a second one because the first one came in all broken up. It looked like the inner box holding this item had been dropped or stepped on. The packaging box was undamaged. The replacement worked great and my BFF loved his signed LAD baseball. I did however modify this item by making a wooden base with a small plaque for it to sit on. Thank you for your fast response in sending out the replacement.

My 9 Y.O. son went to a minor league game and brought a ball home. He was so excited and proud of it, I wanted to surprise him with a good way to display it. It's not durable but the price was right. It's also easy for him to open it up and play with the baseball if he wants to.

I bought this display case for my son, who hit a home run over the fence this year. I like that it has a ball-shaped clear dome to hold the ball, and a small gold colored plastic pedestal to elevate it as a very special ball should be elevated. It looks great on the shelf with the trophies and other memorabilia of his "sports career".Several of the other display cases I saw were uncovered (which will allow the ball to get dusty or lost) or simply lucite boxes (not nearly as attractive, and they take up more space). I was pleased with the price and design of this case. This isn't a toy, even though Amazon has it listed as one. It *will* break if a child is playing with it.If you have an autographed MLB ball, you'll probably want a more expensive case, but for Little League balls this one is great.Edited April 2014: I've bought three of these ball display cases and I'm still very happy with them.

Our 9 yo grandson was given the game ball by his coach after a game. It meant a lot to him. We got this for him. He's not one to stand on ceremony, however, so he often takes the ball out of the holder and he and his brother play with it, so it's totally grassstained. But then he puts it back inside the holder. Not something to use for a ball signed by Babe Ruth but perfect for a Little League game ball your coach awarded you that means something to you right now (and easily accessible if you want to get it out to play with your brother).

My Dad played in the Semi-Pro leagues for 12 years and I have a collection of baseballs that have the other players names written on them by the players themselves. I wanted to be able to display these baseballs in a clear holder so that you could see the players names. I also have a baseball that Stan Musial signed and gave to me when I was 15 yrs. old. I want to preserve these signatures on these baseballs. Which I hope that the baseball holders will do that.

Its a good ball holder, but would have preferred the black base. Will paint this one in the near future. Otherwise its a nice piece for the price.

I find it difficult to buy paraphernalia for sports collectibles anywhere in my hometown. This ball holder was just what I needed to showcase a certain cherished baseball. It was priced very well too.

I bought two. They hold my balls adequately. No complaints.
