Worx WX682L.9 20V Power Share Cordless Oscillating Multi-Tool (Tool Only)

From order to door step delivery it took just 20 days. Great service from the US. The item was boxed and jiffy bagged and arrived undamaged via Royal Mail. Tracking during the transit time was accurate and available through the account info or app.The product unpackaged was at 1st view great. The vacuum / dust extractor attachment was missing in.mine. However a readers concern will be its US battery. A US Worx product uses (so I now know) a 6 pin sized and differently shaped battery housing. My other EU supplied Worx tools use a 4 pin size and shaped EU battery. The PowerShare pictures and promotion pitches are misleading as such, despite a small print warning about the product that it may be different.There are adaptors - not through Worx or Amazon - but add c£30 to the buy. There are OpenSource 3D printing sources but Ive only found the reverse adaptor for US based users with EU tools and US batteries. US batteries are available on here and online, the correct 6 pin chargers can also be located on here. Research your options before making a purchase despite this great price and service, it does all add up.I was able to register the warranty for it here in the UK too. Worth doing too.

I bought the tool to replace my broken multi tool. Nowhere on the add did it state it was an american model so the batteries i have dont fit so a waste of time and money.Unable to return due my error of taking the unit out of its box and putting it in my tool bag without checking and throwing the packaging away.

Hard lesson learnt I too bought this as I assumed it was the same one I already had. Amazon should not list a tool that is not made for Uk market.Still need to find a replacement for the one I have !!!!

UK batteries do not fit US models. Description does not mention anything about the batteries not being compatible.
