iPhone SE Case, VRS Design [Crystal Bumper][Rose Gold] - [Clear Cover][Military Grade Protection] For Apple iPhone SE

Would have given it five stars except it has broken at one of the tiny little bars that are at the bottom where the charger is. It is a pretty case and I thought it was great until a friend noticed the break and originally thought my phone had overheated. On further inspection, we realized the case had broken in spite of the tender, loving care I give my phone. Don't buy this case if it becomes available again. It isn't put together very well at the bottom of the case and it WILL break on you.

My daughters and I can wholeheartedly attest to the protective quality of this case. We know this for sure because we've dropped our phones multiple times since using them.I bought this case in rose gold for my daughter's new iPhone SE. We fell in love the moment I put it on. It's so sleek, so beautiful, it seemed to actually enhance the beauty of the phone itself. The rounded edges gave it a hand-feel unlike any case I've ever used. I was bitterly jealous, and immediately ordered 2 more for myself and my other daughter's phones.I should've waited. I should've held hers a little longer, but of course she ran off as soon as I handed it to her, anxious to play with her new "toy".The sleek, smooth feel of this case presents a problem: it has no grip. Our phones now slide out of our hands all the time.I've had mine for less than 24 hours and I'll be ordering different cases today. I considered returning these, but I don't want to deal with the hassle of doing so.I feel bad to give it a low rating, but I just can't recommend a product that causes the very problem requiring its need.

Overall, this product is ok, with some definite problems. I've been using this case for a few months now, but just got so displeased with it I took it off my phone and I'm going without a case until the new case I purchased arrives.The packaging was fine, no problems with it. However putting the case on my phone wasn't easy. The description didn't make it clear, but the case is in 2 parts: the clear plastic body that is semi rigid, and the hard plastic rim. The body was easy to put on the phone as it is somewhat flexible. The inside of the body is just slightly sticky, just enough to show fingerprints and smudges. I tried my best to wipe them off before installing it, but even so there were still some there after I put it on. Putting the hard plastic rim on is where it really gets tricky. It's not very thick, and feels very flimsy. It took me a good amount of time to carefully slide it over the edges of the clear body, all the while trying to do it extremely gently because it felt like it could snap easier than a toothpick. Eventually I got it on using more force than I felt comfortable with, and somehow didn't break it. (And don't expect to be able to use the clear body without the rim, I tried to do that and it makes the volume buttons and lock button much more difficult to press.)The feel of the case in my hand was good. It had a good amount of grip without being too slippery or too sticky. I also liked the thickness of it, I like thinner cases, and this one didn't feel like it added very much bulk to it. while still providing ample protection. The bottom of the case allows ok access to the headphone jack. If you use headphones/aux cords that have a small sized jack you'll be fine. If it's a little bigger you run the risk of it not being able to fit in the opening of the case. I was able to use all my headphones and a very thin auxiliary cord, but I had a (very slightly) beefy auxiliary cord that wouldn't fit.Once I got it on I liked how it looked. It complemented the look of the phone well. However now that I've been using it a few months it doesn't look nearly as good. the clear body has started to yellow somewhat, which seems awfully fast for it to already be discoloring. It also collected a fair amount of dust and dirt under it and in the gaps for the speaker/headphones and such. This isn't uncommon for phone cases, but because it's a clear case you can see all of it under the surface. And because of the mild stickiness of the inside of the body, it made it tough to properly clean when I took the case off.I should note that when I recently took off the case to stop using it was the only time since I first put it on that I removed the case. When I took the case off, it felt as flimsy and easy to break as when I put it on. Frankly, I'm amazed I didn't break it either of those times. I should mention that it protected my phone fine. I didn't end up with any scratches or damages to the body.Overall, I don't recommend buying this case. I could easily see someone breaking the rim trying to put it on their phone or take it off, and the way its looks decline over just a few months was unacceptable to me - so much so that I eventually reached the point of preferring to use no case than to use this one. Also if you regularly use headphones/auxiliary cords with medium to large sized inputs, this wouldn't be the case for you.

Just got this case delivered and so far I really like it ! It was very easy to put on , although some other reviews state otherwise. As long as you put the clear piece on first and then the plastic bumper you shouldn't have any issues. The rounded edges make the phone even more comfortable in my hand and it does almost look like a smaller version of the 6 with the case on. The rose gold is definitely a good match to the rose gold SE and it enhances how attractive the color of the phone is ! I like having the raised edges on the case to help protect the phone if I lay it face down. Probably not a great case for anyone that is rough on their phones because it won't be much help protecting it from hard falls or anything , but I'm pretty careful with my iPhone's so it's enough protection for every day use.Overall I really like it and for the price I feel like I got a good deal.

I ordered this case just after receiving my iPhone SE in April 2016, and 8 and a half months after, it's broken and I find myself looking for a new one. Perhaps some will have better luck than I did, but I'll explain some important things I observed with the case.Obviously the price is a plus, and it's largely what caused me to not be too frustrated when the case broke on a drop this week. The rim part of the case is thin around the volume button hole, and that's where it broke on impact. The good part is that the case has done its job because I've dropped it maybe 7 times and my phone seems to have been protected.However, when I first put on the case, I noticed that it seemed almost slippery in my hand, and I truly believe there were times where a drop could have been avoided if the case were easier to grip. Also, as you can see in the picture, the clear part became discolored after only about 3 or 4 months. I don't believe it's due to being dirty because I tried to clean it to no avail; light exposure may be the culprit instead. This didn't bother me too much because the color change was oddly appealing, like a light blue, but this obviously is not supposed to happen.In the end, the case has been sub-par and lasted well under a year. The price and the fact that it did indeed protect my phone are the main upsides, and those are the reasons I refuse to give an abysmal star review (because none of its shortcomings were all that unexpected), but shoppers may benefit from researching a few others before deciding.

This case is excellent. it comes in two parts - a rubberised skin that covers all of the phone apart from the front, and a metal (I think) bumper. It all goes on and fits very snugly indeed. It feels both secure, protective and almost that it is not so much a case as part of the phone itself. If you want a screen protector, you'll need to buy one separately. but as cases go, this is really nice.One thing, though. The case has rounded edges. So the overall effect is to make the iPhone SE (with the angular design that I really love) feel a bit more like the more rounded 6. It's not a problem as such, but something to be aware of. But overall, you can't fault this

The case was bought for a relative. It was not so easy to fit the hard plastic edge on as it was a tight fit. Once in place it does seem to do the job though and overall is a pleasing purchase. The cutouts for buttons and ports are perfect.The case does not however fit over the edges of the glass screen protector very well. Frustratingly the very top edge of the screen protector wants to lift slightly, potentially allowing dirt or dust to get in. The screen protector wasnt sold with the case but was at the bottom of the advert shown as an item often sold together with the case. Check compatibilty of screen protector before purchasing as my relative is now looking for an alternative screen protector. Happy with the case though apart from that.

I have bought three of these cases in total. The first one seemed great and lasted ages so when it broke I replaced it. The second one only lasted a few months. Since the first one had lasted so well and I liked the minimal look, I decided I would give the product the benefit of the doubt and purchased a third one. The third one also only lasted a few months. I won’t be buying this product again. It looks good but is too delicate. Perhaps the quality of manufacturing has changed since the first one I bought and the later two.I would not recommend.

Surround cracked and broke after only a couple of months. Replaced by seller so was pleased, and it lasted a few more months than the first one now this one has broken in the same way. It doesn't get rough wear, I use my phone daily but not like a teenager! Seller won't replace this one, apparently no warranty on replaced items. But at £14 I'd expect it to last a couple of years - there are so many cases about much cheaper. I bought my son one for £5 at the same time as I bought this and his is still going strong. So I'll replace this second broken with something more reliable and probably much cheaper. Such a shame as it was a lovely case

The protection is well designed and looks good making the phone round but hard to put in and out and it result in braking in the second time I was trying to take it out...too fragile. I tried a second one and the same happen. I wish I could get my refund but now is to late. If not please give me a refund as I had to buy another one and I used for two weeks only.
