It fit my monitor
Has the manufacturer of YOUR monitor callously omitted to include VESA mounts on the back? Do YOU need to free up desk space so you can store more:- Notebooks just waiting to be filled with your thoughts of the day?- Keyboards, none of which are plugged in?- Thermometers and hygrometers, just so you can compare them to one another in case they're ever so slightly inaccurate? If any of these situations resonate with you, HumanCentric has your back.Unfortunately for me I have two Samsung U28D590D monitors and they take up far too much desk space.Fortunately for me, one of them does, for some reason, have a VESA mount.Unfortunately for me, the other doesn't.Fortunately for me, I bought this VESA adapter bracket and it does a commendable job of attaching to the monitor.Unfortunately for me it's really quite bouncy - the bracket bends and acts like a spring, amplifying any motion and making the monitor wobble.Fortunately for me it is more or less tolerable.Unfortunately for me, the price of this item is really quite high for what is essentially just a bit of metal.Draw your own conclusions.

Expensive, Leaves Monitor too high and wiggles in mount.
After i attached this to a two monitor stand i noticed how my Samsung monitor sat significantly higher than my other one, i had to fix this by attaching the adapter to my mount by only the top two screws which leaves it questionably secure. It also sits quite far ahead of where the mount is attached which makes it hard to make space for my second monitor. The adapter also wiggles, which makes setting specific angles a hassle.Visibly its also quite expensive, which is a bummer for having no alternatives besides the clamp designs.I did find the adapter to have a good build quality, it uses a strong material and i worry little about any of it breaking.

I think this is an excellent way to mount a non-vesa monitor on an arm ...
This vesa bracket does exactly what I wanted and needed....allowing me to mount a 28" Samsung monitor that otherwise lacked a vesa option. It allowed me to raise the monitor off the desk using a monitor arm, and also to do away with the space consuming and rather wobbly manufacturers stand. There are two points worthy of consideration when planning to purchase this (more shortcomings of the design of the stand connection by Samsung, than of this product itself). The design does bring the monitor forward slightly, meaning that it is not possible to push the screen as far back towards a wall as some others. My second point is connected to my first. If the monitor is relatively heavy (mine is, as stated above, a 28" Samsung, and it's worked out ok, but only just), as it pushes the monitor forward slightly, the monitor arm needs to be strong to make sure that the weight of the screen doesn't cause it to sag / droop. These points don't detract from my opinions of this item though, and I only mention them as things to be aware of when considering your purchaseSo overall, I think this is an excellent way to mount a non-vesa monitor on an arm or a wall if required.

The display is juggling so much.
The display is juggling. I had to return it. Probably for wall mount could be ok... for not for desk arms.

Exactly what I needed!
The adapter came in a cardboard box containing all the screws needed to fit it to my monitor! It took less than 5 minutes and I already had the monitor mounted on my gas powered mount.
