Powered by 3 AA batteries, its compact aluminum design is perfect for detecting pet stains, bed bugs, scorpions, counterfeit IDs, and curing UV resin. A versatile, professional-grade tool that reveals hidden messes and details invisible to the naked eye. ## Description GearLight XR68 UV Black Light FlashlightOur XR68 UV Black Light Flashlight is the perfect handheld tool for uncovering your pet dog’s dry urine stains, rodent stains, and other surface spots that are undetectable under natural human eyes. This multifunctional and versatile device can also detect scorpions and car engine leaks, and authenticate currency, passports, or fraudulent IDs. Use it as a nail dryer, UV charger for fishing lures, to reveal glow-in-the-dark toys, cure resin while crafting, or while out camping. How does a black light work?Certain materials glow when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. Our UV XR68 flash light will emit this UV light and allow these materials to GLOW instead of drowning them with visible white bright light. That is why the effectiveness of UV flashlights are not based on their beam brightness, but more so on their ability to make things fluoresce.Black Light Flashlight Applications:Blacklight Pet Urine DetectorRestroom, Bathroom Cleaning SanitationAntique/Hotel Room InspectionsCounterfeit Currency and Fake ID DetectionSearch and Identify Precious Minerals, Rocks, or Jewelry Investigate Fabric and TextilesIdentify Fluorescent Agents Black Light Flashlight Scorpion CatcherFuel or Oil Leak InspectionCure ResinNote: Will not work with cat urine, wet stains, new $100 bills, or in light environments.Package Contents:1x GearLight XR68 UV Flashlight1x AA Battery Holder (Batteries are not included)1x Lanyard1x Operation Guide1x Warranty Card Review: Not for CAT urine. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT. They Will Help You Find The Right Light - I’m rewriting this review. My review speaks of 2 lights THIS ONLY COMES WITH THE BIG ONE- BIG: The light is very much like a bright black light u would use on a wall. It’s very purple very bright. Makes white stand out great. THE PHOTO I SHARED OF A STAIN: WAS TAKEN WITH THE BIG LIGHT THAT THIS REVIEW IS UNDER- IT IS NOT CAT URINE BUT IT IS SOMETHING ON MY WHITE COUCH THAT I CAN NOT SEE WITH THE NAKED EYE. Now my experience: I got this light checking for cat urine even tho it doesn’t state it works for cat urine because some reviews said it would still find it. It did not. It also didn’t find a lot of stains even in my bathroom that I couldn’t already see with the naked eye. It could see laundry soap that I couldn’t see. It didn’t seem to find people urine either. I don’t own a dog. The customer service is AMAZING. The company replaced the product with one that is “more” for what I need.. seems like it’s a “whiter” light. The small one is the one they sent me after- the big one is the one I bought first. So if u r looking for cat urine use the little one I suppose. Also I have medium length carpet. I still have to smell test then part the fibers to find the protein with the light. The cat sprayed on a pile of laundry and the new light didn’t find it there easily either. I barely saw anything at all of at all even when I could smell it so strongly. I don’t think using a light is going to help ME. The company has gone above and beyond to help me find the right product I’m very grateful for that. I’m convinced there just isn’t one that’s gonna spot my cats urine very well. So my sniffer is my best tool.- This review may not help with telling you what the light CAN do but I will tell you this isn’t a light for cat urine and the company is very helpful. If there is a way to reach out to them before you purchase and explain what you need, do it! They will help u find the product u need. For me I couldn’t find a way to contact them before I bought it so I just tried it anyway. Lucky for me they actually read their reviews! Thank you GearLight! Review: Didn’t work for dog pee - Doesn’t work. I was in pitch pitch black house. I have a puppy and know he tinkles everywhere when excited literally didn’t show a thing up except for crisps my son had dropped on the floor ## Features - Exceeds the Competition: Packed with 68 LEDs, XR68 has 30% more UV brightness to help detect stains at the same relative price. While others try to sell flashlights with only 51 LEDs, which customers often complain is not powerful enough, the GearLight XR68 offers sufficient light, yet remains compact enough for daily use. - EASY TO USE: Powered by only 3 AA batteries (sold separately), just turn it on and immediately put this UV blue light on to work. Darken the room and watch the high-performance purple beams illuminate the sources of hidden odors and mess in your home (works best in dark environments). - Pet Stain Detection: An essential tool in your cleaning kit, this black light exposes forgotten or dry urine stains on your carpet, floors, or furniture that are not visible to the naked eye. Pair with carpet cleaners and odor elimination to maximize benefits. - Identify scorpions, bed bugs, and tomato hornworms: designed for indoor and outdoor inspection, this black light is effective in detecting scorpions, searching for bed bugs, and identifying tomato hornworms that are destructive to gardens. This UV flashlight also indicates the presence of UV brighteners on clothing, making it ideal for hunters. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B086VVTGRQ | | Additional Features | UV Light, Black Light, BlackLight, Ultraviolet Flashlight | | Batteries are Included | No | | Battery Description | aa | | Battery Type | Alkaline | | Best Sellers Rank | #119,254 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #1,558 in Handheld Flashlights | | Brand Name | GearLight | | Color | Black | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 5,922 Reviews | | Finish Types | Resin | | Included Components | 1 Flashlight | | Item Shape | Cylindrical | | Item Type Name | UV Flashlight | | Item Weight | 0.22 Kilograms | | Light Output Maximum | 800 Lumens | | Light Source Special Features | UV Light, Black Light, Black Light, Ultraviolet Torch | | Light Source Type | LED, UV | | Light source type | LED , UV | | Manufacturer | GearLight | | Manufacturer Part Number | GL-UFXR68 | | Material | Aluminum | | Material Type | Aluminum | | Model Number | GL-UFXR68 | | Mounting Type | Handheld | | Number Of Light Sources | 68 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power Source | Battery Powered | | Power source | Battery Powered | | Recommended Uses For Product | Pet stain detection, pest inspection, material identification, resin curing, authentication | | Size | 68 LEDs | | Special features | UV Light, Black Light, BlackLight, Ultraviolet Flashlight | | Style Name | 68 LED | | UPC | 858362007942 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 4.5 Volts (DC) | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | White Brightness | 800 Lumens | | White brightness | 800 Lumens | ## Product Details - **Colour:** Black - **Light source type:** LED, UV - **Material:** Aluminum - **Power source:** Battery Powered - **Special features:** UV Light, Black Light, BlackLight, Ultraviolet Flashlight ## Images ![GearLight 68 LED Black Light UV Flashlight, Urine Detector for Dogs/Cats, Scorpion, Bed Bugs, Resin Cure, Dog Stains and Carpet Odor Remover, Verification of - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71SlnpDUIPL.jpg) ![GearLight 68 LED Black Light UV Flashlight, Urine Detector for Dogs/Cats, Scorpion, Bed Bugs, Resin Cure, Dog Stains and Carpet Odor Remover, Verification of - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/7101Q5iNsxL.jpg) ![GearLight 68 LED Black Light UV Flashlight, Urine Detector for Dogs/Cats, Scorpion, Bed Bugs, Resin Cure, Dog Stains and Carpet Odor Remover, Verification of - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71iORtJ96CL.jpg) ![GearLight 68 LED Black Light UV Flashlight, Urine Detector for Dogs/Cats, Scorpion, Bed Bugs, Resin Cure, Dog Stains and Carpet Odor Remover, Verification of - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81yHpzAOoLL.jpg) ![GearLight 68 LED Black Light UV Flashlight, Urine Detector for Dogs/Cats, Scorpion, Bed Bugs, Resin Cure, Dog Stains and Carpet Odor Remover, Verification of - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71LW9lXuO6S.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not for CAT urine.
