[Troiareuke] Korean H Cushion Foundation (No.21) - K Beauty Longwear BB CC Make-up Cream Compact SPF50 /PA

I wanted to switch to a foundation that would also double up as a sunscreen, I have heard of this brand before and only recently decided to give it a go. Overall I’m happy that I did take the gamble with this product. I have been using liquid foundations for quite some time, but I hate having to worry about touch ups. This is why I wanted something that I could carry around and easily re-apply/touch up in the day with the summer heat quickly approaching. The product arrived neat and sealed with everything that it should include. The compact isn’t too heavy to carry around in a bag and seems sturdy so far. The cushion which I’ve heard is nice has lived up to its name. It truly is a nice spongy bouncy “mochi” applicator, and I’m super happy to have gotten an extra. I purchased the H+ in #21 Light Beige. This is where my only negative feedback comes in about the company itself. The foundation is a slight shade too dark for my skin, I wish they would offer more shades in the line. I went with the lighter shade thinking if it’s too light I could easily fix that. Although, it is the opposite of what I was hoping for. But because I’m impressed overall with the product itself it won’t be a deal breaker for me. I’m trying to keep a simple routine for make up most days after skin care, I apply this and a small amount of setting spray or powder. It lasts me a good few hours depending on how hot the days are. I haven’t found much touch up needed. It’s easy to apply with the mochi cushion with little mess. The product hasn’t caused me any irritation or break outs that I can tell after using it for a few days. Coverage is about a medium for my slightly oily and dry skin. It won’t cover all marks, but does a good job with redness and evening out my skin tone.I feel the price is about average for most reviewed and marketed South Korean cushions. I was a little hesitant with the price at first, knowing little access also means having to buy the refill online as well. With the slogan of 99% skincare, 1% makeup it was a good buy and I’m happy about the product.

This is my favorite foundation. I'm always looking for new foundations because this is so expensive for so little but I still haven't found one that beats this. Granted there is only one shade and its SUPER LIGHT but I'm lucky to match this shade pretty well. It has great coverage and wears all day whereas all other foundations I've tried (except the Hourglass Immaculate which is also expensive) break down on my cheeks and nose. This foundation breaks down a teensy bit on my nose, but if I don't realy sweat or anything (I dance) it usually lasts me all day.I'm knocking one star off only because I can't find any refills for this. I'd rather not throw away a ton of cases.

I tried the A+ cushion and it was way to dark so I tried the H+ and it is a perfect color match. I don't have to reapply it during the workday (6am to 4pm) and it still looks okay on my skin even after that. I have combination skin so during the winter my skin is a bit drier and in the summer more oily. I have been working on getting it more normal and so far it seems to be working (but that's not because of the cushion. I am using a combination of skincare to tackle that problem). However, this cushion stays on my skin doesn't really cake or seem to separate except around my nose area. Usually it is when I blow my nose or wipe it and a little pat with the cushion or my fingers fixes that so if you rub at your face a lot it probably will come off. I really love this cushion and it doesn't have a very strong smell like some do. I also enjoy the benefits of it being hydrating especially for winter when it is so cold outside and so dry and hot inside. It is definitely not a matte look, but slightly dewy. If you wanted a matte look some powder would help, but I don't like that look and I just don't want to take that extra step in the morning.
