I am baffled by the small print on the label that says, "This product is not effective on the scalp or nails."  Huh?????

When it says nails on the box it is meaning fingernail it says it works on toenails the other nails on our body is fingernails process of elimination. So it does not work on fingernails or your scalp but only toenails. I suggest the manufacturer change the language because I have seen A-LOT of this confusion but if you think about it it’s kind of common sense. Also I have seen this product work extremely well on my TOENAIL’s only.

Does one dare use a nail polish to cover up the fungus on a big toe?

Short answer:  No Polish.  Long answer:  I bought this in Sept. 2013.  It stated on the packaging that is was not effective for nails, and references treatment for athlete's foot and ringworm.  The package picture is misleading.  I gave it a try by first filing down my nail and exposing as much of the underlying tissue as possible.  This product had no effect on the fungus in my nail bed.  I stopped using the Fungi Nail solution in July 2013. For the last year, I have been using only a solution of ½ original flavor Listerine, ½ distilled white vinegar directly after showering and letting it dry on the nail and surrounding tissue. I stuck to this regiment religiously for a full year. I removed and filed down the damaged nail regularly. Additionally, I stopped wearing toenail polish and wore open-toed shoes whenever possible. My nail is now almost fully healed and grown back in normally. Only a very small edge of damaged nail needs to finish growing out.

Is it effective for finger nail?

It is a liquid about as thick as 20 weight motor oil. When used on a toe, one lets it "dry" somewhat, and then carefully slips into one's sock (you don't want to rub it all away). I'm guessing that it is supposed to "sink in" to the fungus damaged nail.On your hand, and unless you sleep a lot, or do not work, and do wash your hands after using the toilet, I don't know how your going to keep your hand(s) dry and covered after application.On the other hand, since IT DID NOT WORK FOR MY TOES, maybe application and all those other issues don't matter. It isn't going to work anyway and you just kissed $10.00 down the toilet.Bite the bullet! Go see a doctor or make sure the next time you go to one, that you ask for a prescription to eliminate it. Does it really work? does it help nails look better for real?

Absolutely! I never had foot fungus until 6 to 9 months ago I noticed my big toe mail was yellow and crusty. I really didn't think fungus. Then it got worse and my nail was lifting off. I lost about 1/3 of the end of my nail and it freaked me out. I panicked. I ran to the store and they had nothing good. I bought this started using it. It stopped the fungus in it's tracks. The yellow was gone in a few days. But any mail damage will come off with new nail growth so for your mail to look 100% again it takes time for it to grow in.
