Firstly I'd like to say I'm an avid detailer, I fully research the best method to apply Q2 MOHS before making a start. The best process I found was a step by step treatment video, by Vlogger Pan the Organizer, he's good! You can find this on Youtube. So I got to work, and let me say the initial look was absolutely amazing, the car look the best ever, with a very deep high gloss effect, no swirls, no complaint there. I managed to keep the car in the garage for 5 days as I don't use it for work, this enabled it to cure well, as the instructions say it takes around 7 days to cure and should not get wet in this time, if you live in a wet climate apply a little wax to the bonnet, roof & boot, didn't need to as it was staying indoors. So its been around 8 weeks, I don't use the car for work like I said, nor has there been any significant bad weather, we have actually just had a heat wave for around 6 weeks in the UK, which was unusual. So the product is supposed to last around 12 months, it been on the car around 8 weeks, now here's the bad bit, the hydrophobic properties for beading are so exaggerated, its there but not as good as a wax. I did the girlfriends car the day after I did mine, using the same step by step process, but didn't apply the ceramic coat, as the wasn't enough, we'll come to that in a minute. Her car was coated in the 99 Soft Fusso, a 12 month wax, done the very next day, and hers beads amazingly compare to mine which has had the Q2 MOHS coat, it almost looks like its nearly washed off my car, the big claims about beading well they're are just not showing for me! secondly going back to not having enough product, at £86 I believe maybe if the isn't enough to do 2 cars there should be at least be enough to do a medium/big sized car, mine is an Audi A4, its not massive and I only managed to do two coats, for the second coat it was stretched, I mean I missed my rear bumper, I just couldn't get the product to stretch that far, and I'm 100% positive I applied this in the correct manner, as instructed with a tiny fin line to the fabric, folded over the application block. the instructions say apply up to 3 coats, how can I when there is not enough, for £86 there should really be a 50ml bottle rather than a 30ml. I'm really disappointed after the time effort and purchase of other products to do this right, it would have been more cost effective to take the car to a detailer who may charge £300 but I would get a coat that would last 2 years and be warrantied for that, but why do that when I enjoy doing it myself. I think there is better products on the market.

Really Glossy and the hydrophobic properties make it look really nice and easy to clean! I have a white STi.
