Very happy with these. Arrived early - just what I needed - been trying to get replacement candles for my German Nativity for ages.. These are perfect. Like the darker red. Good quality and value.

Lasting, nice colour. Was perfect for our Cheistmas tree.

Lovely quality little candles. Ive had previous candles that have bent in the slightest heat from the tree lights but these held their shape well.

A little smaller than expected but okay for the wind pyramid I have recently ordered.

2025 was the year I capitulated and bought these candles. The candles themselves aren't excessivley priced. The delivery costs are eye-watering. That said, it was nice to have been able to use my German Christmas Pyramid(e) again, especially as I didn't have time to put up a tree. So, all in all, the candles saved Christmas to some degree... it would have been even better if I'd known where I had put the small ceramic piece and the small wooden piece that are required for the central spindle, and, in turn, the wisemen and the sheep to turn. (I found these on Boxing Day so I'd missed the moment - hey, ho). Important note: store any spare candles somewhere dark and cool or they will warp and melt.

Just what I wanted for my Christmas table - they fit perfectly in the candle holders for my Grimms perpetual calendar.

I ordered these candles for my Christmas pyramid and they are an excellent size… they were fairly expensive for what are small candles.I ordered red…. What I received isn’t red, more dark pink, would have returned them if Christmas wasn’t a few days away.

What can I say; well I have been asked to rate this product against 3 criteria;1: THICKNESS: Well. These candles don't have much girth to them, sorry ladies. What I can confirm though is that they are as thick as the description said they would be, so I've only myself to blame for buying a candle too small for the hole I was intending to install them in2: SHEERNESS: I don't think I've ever described a candle as sheer. But that changes now. These are candles are fantastically sheer.3: VALUE FOR MONEY: Well. I would say that given the small girth and quick burn time these are not great value. However when compared with other candles of this size they sit at a similar price. The sneaky suppliers of Christmas windmill ornaments are clearly onto a winner by creating a product that needs this exact sized candle.To summarise. If you're in the market for a thin candle to light up your world, then this is the product for you

These tree candles arrived well packaged and were exactly as advertised. My only issue was my own—I didn't pay close enough attention to the dimensions and wasn't familiar with the standard size of traditional tree candles. They're much smaller than regular taper candles, so they didn't work for my intended use. If you're specifically looking for authentic tree candles, these appear to be a great choice. Just be sure to read the product dimensions before ordering so you know what to expect. They look well made and should be lovely for their intended purpose.

I bought these for our two "Christmas spinners" that we purchased in Alsace, France (made across the border in Germany)) 18 & 22 years ago. These candles work, but I had to melt the ends to get them to stay up straight in the candle holder. The height is perfect, but the diameter is too small.
