Only sent 1 item - did not reply to repeated messages
The bar overall was fine / worked well. The listing says it comes with 2 bars but it only comes with 1 bar. We sent more than one follow-up to the vendor and they never replied to our messages. So only giving 3 stars (wish there was 2.5) because we only received 1/2 of the order.

Fit perfectly and very sturdy.
I purchased a 2-drawer lateral file at a garage sale, but it did not have any file bars. I was told it was a HON but none of those bars fit. After much frustration I sent a picture of the inside drawer to a seller and he told me it was an old style Steelcase and could provide the proper file bars. The fit perfectly and are very sturdy.

don't fit
I have been looking forever for replacement bars. I followed all the tips and yet they still don't fit. This is my third time trying to get replacements'. Im sending these back

Product dimension is not accurate
This product description says that it is 30" but this is not accurate at all. As you can see product dimension is actually 27 inches wide.

Size
Purchased because the description says Compatible lateral file bar for 42" wide cabinet. These bars are 42" long meaning they will not fit inside the cabinet.
