I have been using this guard for several nights now and it works well. First, I have had this style of guard from a dentist before so I knew what to expect comfort wise. A few years ago my guard broke. The dentist decided to not get this style made and only provife ones that cover all your teeth. I have tried that other style for several years now and my teeth are so sensitive, because they don't prevent the pressure of clenching. Fast forward and I've been looking for an alternative supplier to the dentist and found this smart guard. The guards went on sale for $55 and I thought wouldn't hurt to try since it is a package of 2. The product arrived fast. I read the instructions and got set up quickly to fit one guard. The fitting worked really well and is tight yet comfortable. I did do the fitting a second time to be sure I had it really good. It is very important you follow the instructions and use boiling hot water. Also, make sure to press with your fingers on the front of the guard to mold the front of the teeth well. It is also important to get really good suction on the guard to mold the roof of the mouth. The fit was perfect after and is more comfortable than my original version the dentist provided me. I have slept well with this but newbies to a guard like this- it takes time to adjust. I took a while with my original one, so give it time. I will definitely buy these again when needed. Added bonus is since there is two, I always have a backup. If you suffer from really sensitive teeth due to clenching, try this.

I am happy with this product and It is doing what it’s made for. It took my a couple of attempts to mould it to my mouth though. It’s a little tricky

This night guard is great. My night time teeth clenching was becoming a problem. I would wake with pain around my rear molars. Unknowingly I was clenching so hard , the pressure was loosening my molars. I’ve tried many night guards. But they were uncomfortable, bulky or too hard which just made the problem worse. I finally tried these Dentex guards which only cover the front teeth to prevent your rear teeth from meeting. It worked great and much more comfortable to wear. I followed the directions to mold them. On the first try they didn’t feel snug. So I immediately heated them a second time, applying more pressure to mold them, they felt better. I then immediately reheated it a third time to with more pressure around the front and pushing up with my tongue to mold the palate part. And that did the trick. Now it takes a tiny bit of pressure to put it in place so it stays snug and doesn’t fall out like others. I actually have to use my fingers to take it off. I highly recommend this product. You can’t beat the price and I have a professional custom fit.

I NEVER write reviews, but I plan to start! I grind my teeth and had an Invisalign-style retainer made by my dentist to protect my teeth while I sleep. After using it for a couple of years, I became convinced it was actually making me clench and grind more. I was constantly waking up with jaw pain and tooth sensitivity and getting increasingly frustrated. After doing a ton of research, I learned that some people experience increased clenching or grinding with clear aligners/retainers. That made so much sense based on what I had been experiencing, so I decided to give this guard a try. So far, it has been a game changer! My back teeth don't touch while I'm sleeping, I'm no longer waking up feeling like I've been clenching and grinding all night, my jaw pain is gone, and I haven't had the tooth sensitivity I was experiencing before. My only concern is that I've seen some reviews mentioning changes in tooth position with longer-term use. Because of that, I plan to discuss it with my dentist before using it as a permanent solution. But for now, the difference in how my jaw feels in the morning has been incredible. I wish I had figured this out sooner!

I have had retainer trays, dental guards from the dentist and OTC molded guards. This is by far the best for clenchers! I used to get horrible migraines, and doctors had no idea what the issue was until the dentist noticed some wear on my teeth. I was fitted with a dental night guard. (Those things are costly and bulky!) From there I had some dental correction, and ended up with invisalign type trays. They held my teeth in place, but didnt help my clenching as much because the trays were far too thin and they still cost a fortune! Then I found this amazing product! It's a little bulky in the front, but does not allow your teeth to touch in the back. The material is similar to traditional dental night guards, but you can mold them yourself. Super simple to pop in and out, and easily cleaned with a toothbrush or polident 3min. I bought mine last November and over a year later I'm still on my first tray. With the price and quality of this product, I'll never look back!!
