I’ve been using this product while in Alaska (-30°F to 5°F for the past week) and with a base layer, this product, and a snowboarding jacket on top. Almost instant heating and the battery seems to last a few hours while it’s on medium to high. Compatible with other battery packs but not all, just depends on the voltage and amp output of the pack. Great buy and it’s honestly been a life saver up here. Collar is a little high but I usually don’t zip it all the way up. Comfortable and light weight. Got it on an Amazon special for $20 but I’d even say normal price is still a good price for what it is. If you plan on being outside for extended periods of time then I’d get an extra battery pack. LED’s on button are a little bright.

Haven’t used this on a ride yet, but testing in our home it heated up nicely. One feature is that the temp will turn itself down once it has reached maximum, saving battery energy. Looks to be very well made and size is as expected. My guy wears a Large size t-shirt, so I got an XL figuring he would be wearing the vest over his shirt and probably his leather vest, too. It fits well and looks good on him. A bonus is that the heat pads are situated under the hand pockets and you can then warm your hands as well. The battery attaches to the vest via a standard USB (old square style, not “C” style), so you could carry an extra power pack like the one for your cell phone. I recommend this product; makes a great gift.

It works really good out in an unheated factory. It keeps a lot of the cold off your body.

No battery life

I bought this last year 2022 as a gift. I waited a year to review. This is not a paid review an honest review for people to get a good product. The product lives up to what it is. I bought this for my boyfriend that is outdoorsman,hunter,bike rider. When it's cold he never goes with out it. The pockets are deep. The power pack that comes with it last a very long time. He's only chargerd it once since last year. Very good on holding a charge. The zippers on the side is a great feature it allows some room if weight is put on. True to size. I got an XL and fits perfect for 6' 235lb man. I am buying another one this year as another gift.

The good: the style, function, and price. Also, the expanding sides are a nice feature.The bad: size and battery life.SIZE: I ordered a Large - 6’ 175lbs. The vest that I received doesn’t even fit my smallish 12 yr old daughter without unzipping the expansions. The vest said L in the inside, so not a mis-shipment.BATTERY: lasted about 90minutes on high after full charge.

Bought for my wife she loves it long battery life and keeps her nice and warm

UPDATE - Unfortunately, a day after I wrote this review, the vest stopped working. I think it's got a bad connection battery-->vest, but it does not appear fixable. Disappointing for four months worth of wear. I changed my review.I gave this as a gift to my husband and he wears it constantly. He's a golfer, and it adds just enough warmth on a cold day that he said it's really helpful.
