Prepara Latchlok 13 Cup Tritan Food Storage Container, Clear

Very nice, tall and spacious. Very sturdy and air tight seal. After I received it, 10 minutes later I ordered 2 more. For the price I thought I was getting something not quality, but I was so wrong. Very,very quality.

It took a minute to figure out how to open it. I love the quality just wish it was bigger maybe 22cup or larger and flat

I'm wanting to batch cook things like chili, soup/stew, rice & veggie stir-fry, spaghetti and Sheperd's Pie. I want to be able to cook extra and keep those extra servings in the refrigerator so my husband and I can choose what we feel like throughout the week days. These containers can freeze, have a setting to allow steam release in the microwave, and has pour spouts. They stack perfect to save space in my frig. My frig is cleaner, I know what I have in there, when something is eaten up, I wash it out, make a new recipe, label the container with a dry erase marker. I have no science experiments. If we aren't interested in eating a 3rd meal it goes into the freezer.

I bought these for my wife for Christmas. She wanted something she could put food in when we take it up to my mothers for family dinner, etc. that could also be heated in the microwave or put in the fridge.These are quite sturdy, although one did arrive with the latch broken.. We contacted the seller and they sent out a replacement right away.They work well for what they're intended for. They have a sliding lock that keeps the lid on tight and also seals the little vent on each side of the lid.One irritation with them is that the latches stick out about 3/4 inch on each side, so it takes up quite a bit of room... if the latches were flush with the sides instead of at right angles it would save some space.The other bigger irritation is that the seal on the lid is a lip-type seal, instead of a round closed seal. This means you have to take extra time to ensure you clean thoroughly under the seal when you wash it... the dishwasher won't reach it, so it has to be done by hand.All in all though, they're a decent product, and the customer service was excellent.

I have six of these used for storing many things. Until I watched a video on how to open them, I was getting ready to tear out all of my remaining hair. They are excellent for storage, open and close very easily, but until you know how to open and close them, they are very frustrating.Added:10/12/2024 The sliders on two of the Prepara Latchlok 13 Cup Tritan Food Storage Containers have already broken. It takes very little for them to break. As you will see on the Amazon page describing these containers, they have a high enough return rate that Amazon suggests you read the reviews before purchasing them.

I make decorated sugar cookies and wanted something I could store iced cookies in to keep them fresh. I am a one woman show and sometimes I have large orders for weddings and such that are not always individually sealed and keeping the cookies fresh can be a challenge. Anyone who makes cookies knows exactly what I mean lolIt was a little hard to figure out how to open, there are arrows on the lid but it's still not very clear. That being said, once I figured it out it was pretty easy to open.My only complaint about these containers is that there is not a larger size that is short and wide instead of tall, like a storage tote. Typically, storage totes in that size are not used for food so that's understandable. If this company had them I would buy them in a heartbeat.

These (and other sizes and shapes) work really well to keep food firesh. Put washed lettuce in on paper towels, lasted for almost 2 weeks. Same with other fresh fruit and veg.Wish they were made with recessed latches so top was completely flat so they stacked better, but still worth it. Very sturdy, crystal clear. Easy to open and close -- once one figures out how.

This containers were promising , however they are really hard to open and the snap broke off. Therefore the container is no use without the cover. Wish the cover design was durable.
