Once I started to read the reviews I thought I must be confused this can't be reviews about a pen. People were actually writing about when they misplaced their pen they would have panic attacks and would frantically look for these pens until they found them. No matter how long it took. Even calling friends and relatives looking for their pens. The way people talked about these pens was like the pens could actually read their mind and flow the ink to the paper. Many of the reviews talked as though these pens held some type of mystical powers within. I was very skeptical but I figured I would give them a try. I have to say that once the pens arrived within moments I was hooked. These pens flow so easy it's incredible. Within just a few moments I found myself filling page after page with my thoughts. **Q: Does it work well if you push hard? My go-to pen is the uni-ball Deluxe Roller Ball 0.5 mm, which is fantastic if you have a heavy hand. This one?**
A: I have been using these pens for years. Everyone that borrows one of them from me, wants to keep it. It is very comfortable pen to write with. You do not have to push hard because the ink flow is perfect. In my opinion this pen makes it fun to write. I buy them by the box. Plus the blue color is crisp and clear.

**Q: It seems like the pens are cheaper than the refills, at least on Amazon. Do the refills have more ink than the new pens or am I missing something?**
A: nope. same amount of ink. these pens are just much cheaper when you buy them in bulk. i don't bother even buying refills because the pen's design makes it easy to break if it's dropped. i've cracked many of the pens housings by dropping them. and the ball point leaks if the ink cartridge is exposed when hitting the floor. as long as the pen is retracted the ink shouldn't leak. however i've never had a gel pen write this good. i prefer these over the g2 pens for the smooth ink flow and less blotting along with the fact that the 207s come with counterfeit resistant ink good for writing checks.

**Q: Is there a non-retractable version of this exact pen?**
A: Unfortunately there is no Uni-Ball Signo 207 non-retracable version of this pen.

**Q: Does it smudge if you use a highlighter over the ink?**
A: No, it doesn't.  I just verified by writing a line and immediately running over it with a green highlighter.  No smudge.

These are literally the best gel pens I’ve tried. They write smooth, don’t leak, don’t smudge very much, last a long time, and don’t do that annoying choppy writing thing where the ink skips or dries out. They aren’t that expensive for how good they are, and in my opinion they are better than almost all competing brands in the same price range.
