Sexy socks but no compression
The socks are mostly great. They feel great as normal socks and look amazing. However, there is zero compression so I'm not sure why they're marketed as such.

Great for Long Runs
I've been running for 20+ years. I've traditionally done 4-6 miles per day, 5 days a week but recently got into marathons so have been clocking in more mileage. Every Saturday I now do a 15-20 miler, but noticed that right around mile 12 I start to get discomfort around my ankles and feet. The discomfort transitions to pain around mile 15, which makes the last 11 miles in a marathon very difficult for me.I searched around online for a solution and came a across a few articles recommending compression socks. After traveling down the rabbit hole that is the Internet, I stumbled across these socks on Amazon and decided to give them a try. In short, they work great.Last weekend I went out for my first long run with these socks and, believe it or not, I experienced no discomfort or pain around my ankles during the run. Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke instance, I waited to write this review until my next long run. I did another 20 miles the other day and no pain again. Given that I've changed nothing else, odds are these socks did the trick.I only need these socks once per week during my 15+ mile long runs, so one pair is all I had to purchase. I therefore can't complain too much about the price. They are a bit pricey (the pair I bought were $16), but I think that the price is fair after experiencing the difference they made--after all, I wouldn't want to sacrifice quality for quantity. They were therefore worth every penny in my opinion.
