WEme WEme USB 3.0 to SATA Converter Adapter for 2.5/3.5 inch Hard Drive Disk SSD HDD, Power Adapter and USB 3.0 Cable included

I was looking for an SSD adapter I could use with my 5 RPi4 systems running Ubuntu 24.04 and these worked great. Command line lsusb -t show the UAS driver for 3.0 was active and ssd-benchmark got 92MB/s on random writes. The dd command copied 8GB at 190 MB/s.I used 6” USB C cables with Micro B adapter since my RPi4s are all rack mounted, which kept the clean look. The micro b WeMe uses enabled the shorter cable as regular USB 3.0 cables don’t come in 6” inches.The picture i attached shows my home rack and at the very top of rack is where my Rpi4s sit.

Used this neat device to replace an older USB 2.0 HDD enclosure. This is super fast and comes with everything needed to power standard 2.5" and 3.5" HDD/SSD. The read/write speeds on this device interface are stable and fast. Hopefully it lasts over time. Recommended purchase if you need this to perform system imaging, cloning, and other backup related tasks. Also, it's very useful in applications where you do not want to remove the HDD/SSD from the PC case to complete tasks.

I'm so glad I bought this USB to SATA adapter! I had a bunch of old hard drives laying around, and I wanted to see if I could get any data off of them. My computer immediately recognized the hard drive, and I was able to access all of the files on it. lo usé para conectar un disco duro de una Mac vieja que se dañó pero pude extraer el disco duro y recuperar cerca de 25,000 fotos que no tenía respaldo una Mac mini M1 conectándolo via cable USB... al 1er intento no lo reconoció, pero al segundo intento (reiniciando la máquina) se conectó sin problema y la rapidez de transferencia fue aceptable, no cronometré el tiempo pero estimo que descargó las fotos en alrededor de 1 hora
