Different people like different things. I believe most, if not all, have some sort of citrus oil in them, so that is something to consider if you absolutely hate or are allergic to lemon or bergomot (type of orange). You may not smell the citrus depending on what scent you choose, but it will be there. Best bet is to order one of the gift sets that come with about 5 of the little disposable sprays (only 3-5 uses each). That way you can sample different popular scents. **Q: Are there any products that are similar to Poo-Pourri that would cost less and work the same?** A: There is a product available at Walmart called Pure Citrus. It is 100% orange oil and smells like a fresh orange. It is an air freshener (non-aerosol.) It works better than Poo Pourri b/c it isn't watered down. You just do 1 short spray into the bowl and it makes a film on the water. It's $5.00 or so for a bigger bottle than Poo Pourri. It doesn't have a yucky air freshener scent either. Just a fresh orange smell. You can order it on Amazon, but it is twice the price you pay at Walmart. **Q: Can these be refilled?** A: I tried, but so far have had no luck. I had to first remove the plastic “label” and a strip of sealing tape from the neck of the bottle. Then I tried prying off the top part, to no avail. It also isn’t threaded, so you can’t unscrew it. I gave up because I didn’t want to damage the bottle. **Q: What does pinch.
