It's my constant companion from dusk to dawn!
Like its compact size. Firefly mode very useful which doesn't disturb others. Stepless illumination variation is fantastic. Brightest light at my command with double click from any position is so helpful at times. It is the best torch in all my collections so far.Review dated 18Jan2024.I bought it on 9June2022. Till date no problem. It is used daily. Requires charging once in about 20days.I forgot to mention in my last review about its magnetic base, which I find very useful. Also it has instant strobe light if you press it 3times.I wish to have a spare battery 18350, 3.7V, 1100mah. Hope Thrunite will provide me a quote for the same. It is not easily available outside. If anyone knows the source, kindly help me.

Surprising little pocket rocket
So to be honest, I bit on the ad. I was buying the ti3 as a gift and saw this item on sale. I did no previous research prior to it arriving all I knew was that I liked the rechargeable battery, mag cap and increased brightness. So when it arrived I was surprised. First - the interface is more complicated than the ti3 but with such a great range of choices. There is still access to the firefly light which is the best thrunite offering, but the reason I love my ti3 is that your need for light changes, and it is 3 different flashlights. The t1 has basically a dimmer switch like the one over my kitchen sink. Once on, Press and hold to dim up or down to give the exact amount of light so it can be 20 different lights - a perfect fit. Long hold on button accesses the firefly and a double tap accesses the turbo light. Simple once learned and very well thought out. The output of light for this size is incredible but turbo is almost too much light for a torch without focusing ability so I'd say the throw is the biggest (or only) shortcoming with the light for me. On to the form - I understand the mag cap is probably the reason the t1 doesn't have a metal attachment for the strap but I have yet to fit the nylon strap through the tiny hole to attach it and with repeatedly using a pin to push it through I am worried the integrity of the strap will be compromised should I actually get it through. It has not been at all easy. I may just leave it off. So that isn't great, but the counterpoint is that the two way clip is f'in genius. Love it. Attaches front or back. The mag Cap is so much better than my other light simply because this light itself is so small and light. I can't answer the durability question with much authority as I just received it. I have had a little falloff of performance with my ti3 where it seems to change light out of sequence or skip settings and sometimes shakes off. It is like 3 years old and because it is in my pocket everyday and gets banged about I figure the wear is more substantial than the flashlight that sits in my drawer. It looks like a Vietnam war souvenir but the wear all seems perfectly legitimate. I replaced mine with a new one over sending back the old one outside of the 2years. Its not that expensive a replacement. So back to the t1. I paid the reduced promotional price $40 but I feel its a little spendy at $50 - Not sure I'd have paid that. Overall very excited about this big brother to my ti3. Not a replacement as its not quite keychain pocket size (or friendly) but still has a home here. So overall its a love with the light, the magcap and the rechargeable, but the clip and interface are really special. wrist strap useless. I finally used a very strong thread and pulled the strap through. the first thread I used broke.

Powerful👍
Found the product very nice and powerful. Appreciated.Suggestion for improvement:1) There is no diagram to define the parts and step by step instructions diagrammatically for the user to understand how to start the light. That can save substantial time for the users.2) There is no explanation regarding 'mode' i.e. which mode means what. That explanation could have been useful for users.

Small, Mighty, and Super Bright!
Don't let the small size fool you; this flashlight is a beast! This flashlight has a max brightness of 1500 lumens, which is more than enough light to get the job done when you need to throw some serious light around. The 1/2 lumen firefly mode is just enough light to shine on the ground when walking around in the dark without waking up sleeping campers or a sleeping wife back at home. The flashlight also features a lockout mode, so it doesn't get activated while in your pocket. Press and hold the side button for 3 seconds. The button will flash red, and the light will not turn on when you press the button. To unlock the light, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. The firefly mode will confirm that the light is now unlocked.Once unlocked, you can access the firefly mode by holding the button for one second. Press and hold the button to ramp up and then down the brightness to whatever level you need. The range is a low of 15 to a high of 685 lumens. A single click remembers the last brightness level you selected from the 15-685 range. A double click activates the turbo mode, and a triple-click activates the 550 lumens strobe mode. It has a removable clip that you can clip the light to the bill of a hat or velcro it to your backpack for hands-free lighting (Velcro strap not included). With all of those features, plus a magnetic tail cap and a micro USB charging port, and you have yourself the perfect IPX-8 waterproof mini flashlight. If you're looking for a small or magnetic flashlight for a great price, you can't go wrong with the ThruNite T1! I use this as my backup to my ThruNite TC12 V2 that I carry every day. I also use it whenever I go camping. Get yourself one today. You'll be glad you did!Now with all that being said, there are a few things I would improve with this light:1. Change the port to a USB-C. Most phones are now using USB-C cables, so this would be one less cord to carry around.2. Texturize the button so it can be felt in the dark. The button is smooth and hard to locate in a hurry.3. Make the button glow in the dark and have the light charge the glow to see the button in the pitch black. It would also make the flashlight visible if you dropped it in the dark. What good is a flashlight if you can't find it in the dark?
