A Must-Have Companion for My DW735 Planer - DeWalt DW7351 Folding Table Accessory (OEM)
I recently purchased the DeWalt DW7351 Folding Table Accessory for my DW735 planer, and I am absolutely thrilled with this addition to my woodworking setup. These folding tables have proven to be a game-changer, and here's why:First and foremost, the compatibility with the DW735 planer is spot-on. The tables were designed with precision to work seamlessly with my planer, and the result is a harmonious combination that enhances my woodworking capabilities. The fact that they are detachable and foldable adds an incredible level of convenience to my workspace. When not in use, I can easily fold them away, saving valuable floor space in my workshop. The lightweight yet tough construction of these tables is impressive. They feel solid and well-built, capable of withstanding the rigors of woodworking. I've used them to support longer workpieces, and they provide a stable and reliable surface that ensures precise and smooth planing.Adding 13 inches of length to the planer surface has been a game-changer for my projects. It's remarkable how such a relatively small extension can make a significant difference in handling larger pieces of wood. Whether I'm working on wide boards or lengthy panels, these tables provide the extra support I need for consistent and accurate planing.Installation was a breeze, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions and the included hardware kit. DeWalt has really thought of everything, making the setup process hassle-free and quick. Within no time, I had these folding tables attached and ready for action. In summary, the DeWalt DW7351 Folding Table Accessory has elevated my woodworking experience to a whole new level. The convenience of detachability and foldability, along with the impeccable compatibility with the DW735 planer, make these tables a must-have addition to any workshop. Their sturdy construction and the added length they provide have improved the precision and efficiency of my planing tasks. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and I wholeheartedly recommend these folding tables to fellow woodworkers. DeWalt has once again delivered a top-notch accessory that enhances the functionality of their tools. It's a five-star addition to my woodworking arsenal!

Your planer needs these
Installation take a little work but it’s relatively simple. There are some good videos on YouTube that show you some tips on installation. I recommend you watch a couple of them. Well made, work perfectly, great price, sturdy

As good as advertised
I read through all the reviews and they were dead on. My husband mentioned to me that the last little bit of wood running through the planer always had a little dip in it and so I looked up to see if there was anything like this on the market having no idea. So many people gave it such great reviews that I ordered it immediately and he uses it all the time. They’re super easy to put on, very easy to use and the results speak for themselves.

Better. So upon further examination
OK,I've read the reviews here and several other sites as well, and just feel compelled to chime in. First off, using the 735 without these tables yielded snipe. Controllable by lifting up on each end of the board, but snipe none-the-less. With these tables, snipe is all but gone. The minimal snipe I've gotten with these tables installed measures less than 1 thou. I can live with that.Second, I've read that these tables do not fold up. That's hogwash. Let me explain. When I first installed them, the out feed only folded up about halfway.I installed these, uninstalled them, and reinstalled them a few times, and once during that process, I must have switched ends because I noticed the out feed table was now folding up to about 60 degrees. Better. So upon further examination, I noticed that the arm where it mounts, more specifically, the arm directly above the spring loaded pivot pin was hitting the casting of the planer. So out comes the file and within a few strokes to help further round off the stainless arm, no hitting, and the table folds all the way up. 2 Caveats, though.....you must remove the dust port or raise the planer high enough to clear it. And second, the power cord where it exits the housing gets in the way. Poor design. So, in essence, it folds up about 87 degrees, but wont stay there because of the cord. Maybe a bungee around the whole unit to secure?Third...and MOST important....make sure you try using these tables as supplied. You see, DeWalt has them adjusted. Everything I thought I knew about co-planar does not apply to these tables. I installed them and placed a accurate straightedge across the entire bed and noticed BOTH table were higher at the ends than the bed of the planer itself. After adjusting the tables so everything was totally flat. SNIPE!!!! Yikes. I then proceeded to adjust the ends so the ends were about a penny's width higher than the bed. Still snipe, but better. So 2 more adjustments to the tables (about a quarters width) and ZERO snipe. It appears DeWalt had them adjusted correctly from the beginning, as they were right back where they started. So like I said, try them as shipped to you FIRST! If you get snipe, you can most likely adjust it out. Worked for me. Love this planer and these tables. But they should have been included with the unit for the money DeWalt gets for the planer. As a side note, I installed the Shelix head and if it's possible for a person to love a machine....I do. Havent looked back yet.

Nice attachment but need setup
This is a stable set with some exceptions. First off, plan to adjust and level the in feed and out feed to be level with the main bed. This is typical of any setup. This is easily done with the screws on the sides of the bed. Using a level simply adjust the the tables up or down. Then tighten the outer screws. A light behind the level can be used to insure the is no gap and the table is set level.Although set up is easy I highly recommend replacing the screws on the side of the tables. They are made of very soft metal. The Alan bit size is a little off. They strip very easy. Combine this with the person at the manufacturing plant over tightening them when assembled leaves me unempressed. They will also need a simple cleaning with mineral spirits to remove the packing oil. This is common with most tools.Overall I am pretty happy with the tables as the material is pretty stout and the price was better than what can be purchased at the big box store. This would have received five stars but I found the set screws lacking. I would expect more from Dewalt.
