The glass pitcher that came with my Mr. Coffee iced tea maker broke EASILY after only a couple of months' use. I had read the reviews and bought the unit anyway because I liked the way it made tea. I was careful to not bump it, drop ice cubes in it, etc., but it cracked anyway. The glass pitcher does NOT measure up to the unit itself. Mr. Coffee needs to address this problem. Anyway, I searched the Internet and finally found this glass pitcher. What sets it apart is the beautiful diamond pattern that makes your tea, lemonade, whatever looks so nice. I bought it and it is wonderful. It is strong like their specs say. It doesn't hold quite as much liquid as the original pitcher but that problem was easily solved by using fewer ice cubes. This makes stronger tea, which we like, because it doesn't get watered down when you serve it in a glass with ice cubes. NOTE that this pitcher DOES fit nicely into the Mr. Coffee unit. It came with a sponge brush that makes cleaning simple. This is a small company and the owner contacted us twice to follow up and make sure we were satisfied with her product. I will no doubt order another as a backup, because I'll probably never find another one with this diamond pattern.

Love! All I feel is love for this pitcher. So much so that we have 2. One is always filled with cold brew tea and the other infused water. I was really nervous to buy based off the reviews saying the lid just pops off or won’t secure on. Decided to go ahead and buy it anyways because I could always return it. Turns out those people must not be paying attention to the email that this company sends out after you order or to the paperwork that comes with the pitcher. It clearly states you do not twist or turn when putting on the lid as it will just fall right off. They made them to fit perfect so you place it on straight and don’t mess with it. I did accidentally turned it and the thing made a sliding noise as I went to put it back in the fridge so I checked and sure enough the lid was not sealed on. But that was my own fault. Pay attention to the instructions before writing reviews people. We use these daily and love them :)

This pitcher is what we have been hoping for. It's light but seems sturdy, it is really beautiful and has a seemless handle attachment to pitcher and is ergonomically very comfortable. We tried the Amazon's Choice product, but it was ergonomically bad and it broke within a few months. It also had a sharp edge where the handle meets the glass. I can't speak to the longevity of this one. We've only had it for three days. But It's really beautiful and feels great to pick up. The complaints about the loose lid are true, although for us this is a plus. We use the lid so bugs don't die in the juice and we don't turn it upside down or try to shake it. When we pour, we take the lid off. Still, it seems like they might have found a tighter lid. The cleaning thing is not ideal either. The mouth is too small to fit a hand in, so you have to use the soft brush they provide, which means you have to keep it handy, which means you have one more icky thing to have around the sink. But... all-in-all, it's hard to find a really good glass pitcher. You know they are going to break eventually, so you don't want to spend too much, yet you want them to be pretty and well-balanced. This is the only one I've found that satisfies all the criteria.

Not only is this pitcher beautiful, but it's very sturdy and not too heavy. The best part is that it pours clean without dripping or going down the side. Of course if you try to pour too fast, then it will go around the opening in the lid. The lid fits just right so you don't have to hold it down while pouring. When I took it out of the box I thought there was no way it held 72 ounces because it looked so small. But I measured it and it does indeed hold that much. It also comes with a long handled sponge cleaner that I love. The head is removable so you can take it off and put it in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning. I'm planning on getting a few more.

Use this pitcher every day so far and have had nothing but a good experience. I make loose leaf tea in it (boiling water) and stick it in the refrigerator after it has cooled to room temp. Love the look of it too!
