L-Theanine 200 mg taken with 5-HTP 100 mg (one capsule of each) has been a miracle for myself and three of my children. The beauty of it is you only feel relaxed (not drugged) and when you wake in the morning you do not have that drugged feeling you often get with prescription medications. In fact, we wake fully refreshed. I would often be unable to sleep until 4 AM without this, so I told my son about it because he would lay awake until 5AM and have to get up an hour later and go to work. It was a lifesaver. Also, my autistic 20 year old son complained about not being able to sleep and having nightmares for years so his doctor put him on a prescription drug that helped but only about 80% of the time. Since he has been taking the 200 mg L-Theanine and the 100 mg 5:HTP every night, he does not need the prescription mediation and he has no problem with getting to sleep and has no nightmares every night now. Now my 30 year old daughter is taking both and finally sleeping every night.

I was purchasing these from another source and I have to say that Amazon has provided the same quality and a larger bottle for a great price. I have been using this product for years to help with my falling and staying asleep and really feel like it helps.
