This product is suitable for vegans. I would not recommend for cannibalism though.

Can I wear it with progressive eyeglasses?

Yes indeed. I have Varilux lenses in my eyeglasses and these work very well over them. In fact, they work better with the Varilux than without. I use them to build my model tall ships at 1:60 scale.

Demo video mentions lens magnifications up to 2.5. But the packaging specs however indicate magnifications up to 3x. Please clarify.

What is the magnification if you don't use the loup?

If using the fixed lens alone, the magnification is 2x power. When the fixed 2x power lens is combined with the flip down lens, the combined magnification is 3x power. The combined fixed lens and slide-down loupe magnification is 5x power. The combination of the fixed lens, flip-down lens and slide-down loupe lens comes to 6x power magnification.
