High production value, great song list of newer and older songs. I got nice and inebriated and did some art whilst practically being at a Tiamat concert. It was a lovely evening. Thank you Tiamat (and seller)

REVIEW FOR THE TIAMAT FANS...First,I want to thanks to my friend Gianny Painkiler,again,that made me as gift this masterpiece "Church of Tiamat" DVD, of that interesting Tiamat band,and also to say thanks to Amazon team again,for their seriosity into send me the package in good condition,and promptly,due the fact that my friend done the order on 9 September ,then Amazon dispatched me on 15 September and they estimated I will get it on 4 October,but I received it more early, from Glenrothes,United Kingdom.Second,I want to say to the music fans,that even if I am not a 100%Tiamat fan,also the band is in my favorite bands list,so I totally recommends this band to all music fans that didn't heard yet about this band and I recommends in special this DVD cause is the only one that can prove their true live performance to all fans that didn't saw them performing live ever.Third,they formed somewhere in 1988,in Stockholm,Sweeden,first over the Treblinka band name,and then over Tiamat name,by the Johan Edlund leader who got many past members,but actually they performed in a formula of 4,leaded by the same Johan Edlund,vocal and guitar,Anders Iwers,at bass,Fredrik Akkeson,at guitar,Martin Brandstrom,at keyboard,and Lars Skold as drummer, they changed some music genres over the years,from an early death-metal,to the late atmospher-gothic,and , actually to metal-rock,they enjoyed us with 9 albums,5 singles,3 compilations,2 Ep,1 demons,and 2 live albums and dvd-es,one of them being this Church of Tiamat DVD.Four,this live DVD,Church of Tiamat,was recorded in 2005,under the Metal Mind Production,at Kuriosum Club,in Krakov,was mixed in Hagen ,Germany,and was released in 2006 ,and contain a DVD,with 15 songs,plus an interview with the members about the band history,and plus 13 videos,a dvd with a good sound and image quality,and a very good lights working effects,a dvd with a cool cover made by Johan Edlund,and witth a coold graphic inside,a dvd made in memoriam of Par Anders Danielson,a talented musician,finally a DVD that MUST be in every fans music collection.Fifth,the band performance is a cool one for more than 2 hours of playing,in which Johan impressed us with his song compositions and the lyrics,that seems to came from other world,and also with his mystical way to speak with the fans,and his strange way to wear his black clothes,Anders show us his bass abilities,Fredrik,his beautiful guitar solos,Martin shows us his interesting keyboard tones and melodies,and Lars his drummer abilities,a band that REALLY deserved to be listened.Six,I listed below the DVD songs,but because this is a personal review,I listed the songs as a top in the order of my favorites and I also listed the videos but in the order they appear on DVD.The live songs:1.Cain2.To Have and Have Not3.Love is as Good as Soma4.Whatever that Hurts5.Gaia6.Vote for Love7.Brighter than the Sun8.Cold Seed9.As Long as you are Mine10.Wings of Heaven11.Clovenhoof12.Childrens of the Underworld13.I am in Love with Myself14.The Sleeping Beauty15.In a DreamThe videoclips:1. The Church of Tiamat is the name of only one dvd of Swedish metal band Tiamat!A must have dvd for Tiamat fans and also for every real rock/metal fan.It cames with an good production , the image are very clear and the aspect ratio NTSC 4:3 (PAL compatible) and the audio format is Dolby Digital 2.0, 5.1 and Dts 5.1 ; running time approx. 162 minutes including bonus.Unfortunately have no subtitles but it deserve all the money.It is a super concert featuring the most beautiful songs like : Cain , To Have And Have Not , Cold Seed ,The Sleeping Beauty and many others and of course Gaia. A collection of great songs wich create a unique atmosphere - and don't forget the lights on stage because are wonderful.This show is Live In Poland and includes following 15 tracks :1. Very good selection of songs throughout their career, except they should've done at least a song or two from the incredible Astral Sleep album, but overall the production and sound quality is very good. The bonus features is filled with interviews and video clips and that part has some older footage of concerts when Johan still growled(yeah!)Strongly recommended for all Tiamat fans of both the old and new sounds. Also there's a bonus guest appearance from Peter Tagtgren(Hypocrisy,Pain,The Abyss) doing one of his signature screams at the end of "The Sleeping Beauty"

They're not exactly the most animated band out there, but I really enjoy this DVD. The set they played is a great mix of old and new songs, and the picture/sound quality is excellent. I haven't checked out the extras yet, but I'd recommend it for the concert itself.

I had been anxiously waiting for Marillion's new release. Keeping tabs on how this album was coming along on their website and I must say "WOW".Been listening to Marillion since Script of a Jester's Tear and Marbles is of the finest craftmanship one can expect from such a group of talented people. Marbles is one of their finest works to date if not the best.Genie, The Only Unforgivable Thing, Neverland, Drilling Holes, Marble III, and so on. This entire album is worth every penny and more.Now if only October 12 can get here faster. I have a date for that evening sitting up close to the stage watching them perform Marbles live at Le Capitole in Quebec city. Can it get any better?Go ahead, take out those old marbles or lose a few. In the end this is one CD any Marillion fan should and must own. If you are new to Marillion then Welcome aboard Marillo :)

Dachte zuerst -na ja- Live in Poland-wird wohl wieder mal ne Kofferradio-Sound DVD sein. Gekauft-reingelegt DTS Spur gewählt, und mir sind die Tränen gekommen-mann ist der Sound und die Musk geil!!! Sisters und Mission Fans sollten hier auch mal reinhören!!! Die Bonustracks sind hingegen Kofferradio-Qualität!!! Für Fans, und die es werden wollen (Dark-Wave/Gothic Metal etc.)ein absolutes MUSS!
