I first heard about it through artists on YouTube and knew I had to get one. I prefer spiral bound sketchbooks over binding which is why I went with this one. I hope other spiral bound sizes will be available from this brand. I use alcohol-based markers (Winsor & Newton Brushmarkers, Copics, "Copic-duplicates") and all types of pens (brush pens, pigma microns, rolling ball pens, etc) on this sketchbook and there is no bleeding at all and does not sap the ink of my tools dry. This will be my go-to sketchbook from now on. Some cons however which are ok with me but something to consider for others: There is some slight feathering with my brushmarkers and pigma microns. The sketchbook arrived with a bunch of scuff marks on the cover which I covered with a bunch of stickers. The cover in general is easy to scuff and I just wish it was shipped in a plastic polybag so I at least could have been the one to scuff it lol.
