Really nice bowling shoe
As most bowlers know, new shoes can sometimes be a challenge at the alley since the slide will not be anything close to what you are used to...amazingly enough, I did NOT experience this at all. I did put a little easy-slide on it before bowling just as a "primer" and I had NO issues all night. Additionally, these have got to be the lightest shoe I have ever felt. I am hoping that the light weight doesn't mean they will "disintegrate" in a short time. One thing I noticed...if you happen to drag your foot across the approach at all, you may see a red streak appear...happened to me twice but it did not affect the approach in a negative manner as all other bowlers had no issues with it. For the low price, definitely worth it...

High end feature of changeable soles for a moderate price
These seem like a solid shoe, but only time will tell about durability (hence 4 stars). I've been using Dexter Pro-am II the past several seasons. Made the switch to these (drawback on the Pro-am is they tend to only last 2 seasons for me) as for a moderate increase in price from the Dexter's, they do come with an interchangeable slide sole.Shoe seems true to size and is comfortable. The traction sole seems durable, and the #6 sole seemed fine for me. Haven't really tried the #4 (lower number = less slide). I did go ahead and order the other 3 available soles (#2, #8 & #10) and will check them all out the next time I'm bowling. While I've never really thought I'd need the versatility of changing out soles, I guess on those really humid or rainy times when the approaches can be tricky I guess I can try something with less friction now.Unlike the more expensive high-end shoes the heel is not interchangeable.

Comfy shoes, Stylish but Leaves Red Marks on Floor
The shoes are super comfy and stylish and work great, however, one big design flaw. The red rubber soles if you slide your swing foot wide like I do on your throw, it leaves huge red rubber streaks on the floor that you must wipe up after each throw. I anticipate after using it for several games. I have played 4 now, that this will dirty up and eventually get warn in and go away but it has been awful. I probably would never buy these again to go through having to break them in. If you are a straight bowler and don't swing your leg out or drag it much, won't be a problem.

Surprisingly comfy, although the velcro throws me off.
It has been almost two decades since I owned a pair of bowling shoes. The last time I wore a pair of my own, I was six years old and bowling in a high-school league when I decided it was no longer fun due to the pressure from my father and gave it up.20 years down the road, a child prodigy turned washed up loser, similar to that of “Balls of fury” and I’m finally deciding to give it a go again. The velcro bottom to help with more/less slide will be a learning curve for me. I’ve never had any type of shoe like this but having wore them in the house on my vinyl flooring and they felt amazing, even with my extremely flat feet.

More Cost Effective Than Renting
I bought 6 different pair of bowling shoes and these were the only ones that didn't squeeze the bones out of my toes. I joined a league and the cost of buying shoes was less than renting each week and so far (3 weeks = 9 games), these have been great. They are comfortable enough and slide enough for my very amateur skills!

Very stiff and unforgiving
These shoes look good but are very stiff and do not seem to be breaking in. The balls of my feet are very sore after wearing the shoes for a short time. I have wide feet and though I fit in these shoes fine, they squeeze the sides and heel causing fatigue fairly early into the game. By the time I get to my third game, I am ready to get these shoes off of my feet asap. I bowl 2 days a week and wish I would have spent a little more money on a more athletic style pair of shoes.

Fits wells and comfortable
These shoes look good. The fit was originally a little tight. Fortunately the insoles are removable. I removed them and replaced them with thinner inserts available at drug stores. Now they fit perfectly. The toe ends of the shoes are wide and roomy.

Most comfortable shoes ever
Bought these for my husband, to replace a pair that were giving him issues. He loves them. Says they're the most comfortable bowling shoes he has ever owned. They look just like tennis shoes and he gets compliments on them weekly at league. He's not a slider and finds they work perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Had to return 👟 and here is why... 🤷♂️
Shoes are always so iffy buying them online. After doing a ton of research on shoes I settled on these puppies because the price was right and they look stylish. They came in quite quickly; however, when I tried on them my feet were swimming in them - they're very oversized. My foot is a size 10.5, so, 11 shoe is typically what I get. There was so much space between my toes are the top of the shoe, and my heels were slipping out the back. 😣I would suggest to buy a half to full size smaller then your normal size. You can always return it if they are the right size.Over all though, nice looking shoe, just wish they had the right size. 😕Ps. Some reviews were saying they leave a red mark on the floor from the shoe's sole, and I can definitely see how it would. I tested it on my hardwood and I could see a red mark. So, actually kind of glad they didn't fit.Good luck and I hope you found this review helpful. 👍
