Can you customize the lighting? Can you pregram different colors?

To a degree, yes. You can customize each individual key color (Yellow, Blue, Light Blue, Red, Pink/Purple (looks pink to me), Green, and White) by pressing FN+End twice then pressing the key you want to change to the color you prefer. You can also get a few additional colors (whole board) by pressing FN+Insert and letting it cycle to the color you want (this provides more color/shade options than the main colors listed earlier -- press FN+Insert again to pause on a color. FN+Page Up will cycle the colors across the keyboard and allow for some gradient color patterns on the board -- press FN+Page Up again to pause a gradient). FN+Delete will cycle a rainbow effect across the keyboard which you can also pause if you'd like a static gradient of colors flowing from one side to the other, you can also leave them animated. FN+Home will animate the colors moving from inside (around the J key) outward on the board -- I don't seem to be able to pause it. FN+Page Down looks like it turns the keys off but when you hit a key it will light up -- pressing Fn+Page Down again changes the color. The only color set you can fully customize and "program" to stay the way you set them is the FN+End individual key customization, the others will revert to their normal function upon restart. For example, my QWEASD and number keys are set to Red, my F1-F12, space bar, arrow keys set to White, and the rest set to Light Blue. This color combination has remained stored in the keyboard even after unplugging it from my computer. Brightness is controlled with FN+Up or Down arrow keys. Speed of animated cycles is FN+ the +/- keys. For anyone wondering, the Vara K551-RGB and the Kumara K552-RGB appear to share the same colors/settings, the only difference is the number pad.

What is the different between rainbow and RGB backlight?
