I have worn and loved keds since I was a kid and these are no exception. They are similar to the Ace and the old Coursa. I think they fit me better than the Ace because they are a narrower fit. Nothing will ever beat my beloved Coursa but these are as close as they can get. As with most keds, they are heavier than you can find in other brands and don’t have that walking in air feel you can get with a true athletic shoes, but for walking and light activity, they are great and durable. I generally wear a 7 or 7.5 in keds and took a 7 in these. Because they are all leather, I used blister tape on the heels for the first couple of wears but after that, they were fine.

Who does not love their Keds? The canvas are so hard to keep clean and sometimes leave yellow rings when you wash them. These leather or pleather Keds wipe clean and look great all the time. There is no arch support but they do have a little memory foam padding so they are more comfortable than a no name brand of plain white sneakers. They look cute with most outfits,I like to wear them with no show socks so my feet do not sweat. Since they have no arch support, I wouldn't wear them on an 8 hour cobblestone walking tour. They are good for social events and trips with short walking since the leather upper is soft and pliable. The textured rubber soles provide no slip traction. Amazon occasionally has them offered at a fairly reasonable price depending on your size. I got them for $45 which I thought was a good price at the time.

I wanted some white tennis shoes to go with some skirt and dress outfits to make them cute and casual and these do not disappoint! I love that they are leather so it makes it easier to keep clean (the tongue of the shoe is cloth). The design is clean, sleek, and timeless. The inner soles of the shoes are very cushiony and soft. The back of the shoes are not stiff so they don’t rub, so you can go without socks and be ok. I was able to wear these all day at an amusement park with no issues…aka blisters! I will warn you though is you have a wide foot then these are not for you. They fit very narrow. They are true to size.Highly recommend!

I love Kids but this is the first time I ever ordered them in leather. I was so disappointed. I was so excited when they came early, I got them on but discovered that they were a bit too tight. I usually wear a 5.5 med, but I could only get them in a 6. They fit like a 5.5 narrow. the The top of the right foot was so tight that I could feel a knot poking my foot from the stitching. After leaving them on for twenty minutes, I decided no there was no way I could wait for them to stretch out. They are very well made with a comfy insole. I would love to find a pair to fit me. A 6 wide would be too big.
