Good and tasty! Quick to fix, although it does take a few minutes for all of the potato pearls to dissolve.

These Potato Pearls taste like the real thing. Of course me being a country girl, I had my doubts, I’m thinking there’s nothing like home cooked real potatoes. But I heard so many good reviews on them so I decided to give them a try. I put 1 cup water, 1 cup Half n Half , 1 tablespoon bacon grease, 3 tablespoons real butter, & salt to taste, when that came to a boil I turned off the burner and added 1 1/3 cup of Potato pearls, I mixed really fast with a whisk, they started getting thick, I added just a little bit more. Mixed up fast, then when they got to the thickness I liked, I did a taste test! Delicious! I trick people because when they eat them I get compliments on my mashed potatoes, so good! Leftovers make great potato cakes too. Of course you don’t want to add just water, then you may just taste instant potatoes.. But if you consider yourself a great cook, then you will know what to do.
