I bought them for my daughter and her bridal party to wear when they were getting preparing to walk down the aisle. It is not see through. The girls loved them!

The waist is slightly larger than the bust size. it fits as MOST robes do. I got the large and I should have gotten extra large, but it still closes and and the belt fits fine. Hope this helps!
