Its about time Broadcom updated the manual to reflect this problem, which has been around for years. Incidently I had downloaded the latest update from the Broadcom website, but found it impossible to use this at the outset, because it expected the dongle to be installed already. So I used the version 5.6.0.7700 on the supplied CD. I am still on this which surprisingly is a bit clunky, so should perhaps upgrade. However not knowing what the latest version is like puts me off.
