Yes you do need to bleach ur hair to use it the color is very vibrant and it stays for a long time I really recommend

No it won’t work on dark hair. It might give it a bluish tint or shine but it won’t look like the expected color. Medium brown hair might work without bleaching with these darker dyes, but not dark brown.
