Excelente tornamesa, de precio razonable, estética y muy fácil de usar y conectar. La tengo conectada a un par de bocinas que se conectan a la corriente (sin amplificador) y se escucha bastante bien.

Very good pricing for a audio technica product Dislike: 1. Power button missing 2. Could be a bit heavier to avoid skipping when accidentally touched Unpacking and assembly details: take care while fixing the belt. Pull tape is provided and stuck on the platter. Audio technica official videos available on the assembly instructions. Verdict: totally satisfied. Plays even old records with clarity and no much wear out noise.

Comprei esse toca discos e não me arrependi apesar de achar um pouco caro, ele tem um audio excelente com uma qualidade surpreendente, aparelho chegou intácto e dentr de três dias a entrega foi realizada. Recomendo a compra desse aparelho, realmente é muito bom, eu posso falar porque tenho um desses de madeira com CD e USB que a qualidade nem se compara com a desse toca discos, essas vitrolas de madeira podem até ser mais baratas mais a qualidade é horrivel. A conversão de discos desse Audio Téchnica é muito boa, passei alguns discos para MP3 e ficou excelente, estou muito satisfeito com a aquisição, podem comprar sem medo.

I hadn’t owned a record player for many years, so I thought I’d get a basic one for my small collection of vinyl. I don’t intend to play my records every day, so I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg. I was looking for an affordable, decent quality automatic turntable and noticed this model made by Audio Technica. I know it is a popular trusted brand for turntables. Automatic turntables were the norm for record players back in the 80s. The AT-LP60X is not a cheap system that requires manual interaction to lift the needle. This one has both automatic and manual operation of the arm, and it also has a fair amount of dampening so that gravity doesn’t cause it to fall smack onto the record. Surprisingly the far more expensive Audio Technica LP120X model does not have this automatic feature. Operation is easy - press Start to start the turntable and automatically lift the arm/needle and play the record from beginning; press Stop to send the arm back to the resting spot and stop the turntable; press the third button to lift the needle during playback so you can manually jump between songs. The Start button can also be pressed during playback to reset the needle back to the beginning of the record. Very simple. There are also buttons to adjust the speed and size of the record being played. The turntable platter is easy to install, and if you are unsure how to set up and use the player there are plenty of YouTube videos to help you out. When it comes to budget record players, overall the LP60X is noticeably better overall than those suitcase-style record players made by Crosley, Innovative Technology, Victrola and others. I made the mistake of buying a suitcase type on sale a few years back and it was subpar in all aspects - in build quality, useability and sound. The arm/needle needed to be manually lifted and placed on the record and you had to make sure you didn’t drop it directly onto the record (there is no dampening). Plus the needle on the suitcase models causes sooner damage to the records due to the heavier downward pressure applied to the record. In comparison, the LP60x sounds better, and even better than those I owned in the 80s and 90s. I’m very pleased. Also when I compare it to my previous record players, the old records don’t have as much audible hiss or “swishing” of the ‘S’ sound when sung. One thing I noticed about the the suitcase players was that they sounded too “stale” when played on the same external soundbar, which led me to think the record itself was at fault. There was barely any low end frequency. On the other hand, the LP60X proved I was wrong about that assumption; it really made the records more enjoyable to listen to. I’ve read various reviews about the plastic cover/lid on the LP60X being a negative. I’m puzzled about what the big deal is. It looks solid and is built sturdy and tough. It’s not thin flimsy plastic. I’d rather have this cover than worry about a heavy glass cover come crashing down. The two record players I had in the 80s and 90s had plastic lids and they weren’t an issue. In general I’m not too bothered about the build quality on this record player. The only issue I have is that whenever I remove the record from the player, the cloth pad below it keeps coming off with it. I could probably fix this by applying a thin adhesive on the cloth to the turntable. After several days though this has become less of an issue. I haven’t tested the USB slot but it‘s good to have just in case and was only a $20 extra feature over the base model. I will try it out so that I can digitally back up a couple out-of-print vintage records of mine. When I do that I will update this review. UPDATE: I was able to record from my vinyl to my Mac using Audacity and the USB cable. However, one important thing you need to do, which is not mentioned anywhere, is to go to Settings -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy tab -> Microphone, and then allow Audacity access to the mic. Otherwise the “USB core audio” device (the record player) cannot be monitored and/or recorded by Audacity.
