Any recommendations on what types of frosting work best for this type of decoration? Is it finicky? What works best?

I watched a tutorial on Cake Style about how to use the ruffle tips. The tutorial gave the perfect recipe for making beautiful ruffles. It's called Soft Stable Buttercream. Here s the recipe: INGREDIENTS 250 grams unsalted butter, softened 250 grams vegetable shortening 750 grams icing/ powdered sugar, sifted 1 teaspoon vanilla extract INSTRUCTIONS In a large bowl, on the medium speed of an electric mixer, cream the butter and shortening until smooth. Add the icing sugar, one cup at a time, until well combined. Gradually add extract until combined. The tutorial really helped a lot. You might want to watch it!

Can you use a regular coupler or do you need an over-sized coupler with these tips?

Regular does not fit. I’m not sure about the large one, I think it is to big. These are medium size tips. I do not use a coupler.

Is the opening of these smaller (tighter) than the equivalent tips for the u.s. market? what makes them better for the bean paste flowers? ty

Perfect for thin and small petals

I’ve been looking for Korean rose tips to get small and thin petals on my flowers and got this set. It’s perfect for my smaller flowers and doesn’t deform when I’m washing. Boiling hot water is all it takes to keep them clean and doesn’t leave the insides greasy.
