Very chalky, dry and crumbly. Had a strange taste. Good for getting lots of protein, but not the nicest flavour.

Checks the big boxes for me Vegan- check Complete Protein- check No Artificial Sweeteners- check Real sugar means 80 or so more calories than other bars with similar protein content. I'm active and mostly vegan so I care more about hitting my daily protein goals than minimizing my calories at the expense of GI discomfort- which erithrytol, allulose, etc. are likely to do. No funny food math you'll see in other bars, like: "net carbs = carbs - fiber - sugar alcohols" What you see is what you get. I'm not saying this is a replacement for a real meal, but if I need something on the go, this is a lot better for my needs than a candy bar or a protein bar full of who-knows-what. Chocolate PB is my favorite, but chocolate and chocolate mint are also fine. None of the bars are mind-blowing from a flavor or texture perspective, but I don't get sick of them. Great product in a market crowded with junk. Also, these are an amazing deal if you can get them for close to $1/bar, which isn't too rare with subscribe and save discounts.

I usually buy Pure Protein bars, but these were on sale and I wanted to give them a try. The bar is 280 cals, which is about 80 cals over the average Pure Protein bar (which I actually like since I don't usually eat enough). The bars are more dense and a bit on the crumbly side. There is a soft layer in there though. I don't mind the texture at all. The flavor is just right. Not too much flavor, but enough to make the tasty. I will definitely be buying these in the future. You could eat these for a while and not get bored with the taste.
