We have had this garbage can for over 2 years. The functions still work great. We have it out in the open and it does not leak most smells. Size is great for in kitchen for the 2 of us.

So over all I think this is a great trash can and would buy again as the price is great and it works pretty good. With that said when it arrived the lid would not open and close with motion sensor, I had to press the button to open. I contacted seller and they were very kind and sent me a knee lid with no problem. The second lid works much better. The only flaw is the sensor is a little sensitive as it doesn’t open unless you move a certain way. I have no comparison to other motion sensor cans as this is my first. Maybe there all sensitive 🤷🏼‍♀️. It doesn’t bother me, overall I’m very satisfied and the seller is great, so if you do have issues they will make sure your issues are resolved.

This was supposed to have a top that lifted and closed automatically but for some reason ours doesn’t. Decided instead of the hassle of returning it we would just use it as is which works well for us. Would have been too easy if it actually worked but again still works for us.

Bought 2, one for recycle and one for trash in the kitchen. Don't know why one has a blinking red light and the other does not. They both work as advertised so far. Brand new though so I can't report on how they will work after 100's of openings. They do have hand opening slots in case they quit working, you can just use them as a manual opening trash can. Note: If you have one on order, have 4 "C" size batteries ready to go in.

This auto opening trash can is working out well for our kitchen. The con would be that some movements cause it to open at times we don’t intend it to open. We are learning how to avoid it at times so it opens when we want.

I have had for only a year and the lid is malfunctioning on me. I have replaced the batteries, changed everything, wiped down and followed all instructions on the lid and it is still not opening or closing. I messaged through Amazons seller messaging and they said in response "We can help you. Unfortunately, it was bought a year ago so there is nothing we can do." Why say you can help me then? and a trash can should last more than a year, especially at this price. Awful customer service and worse product.

It’s a fine trash can. It is very sensitive as it opens if you walk by it and don’t want it to open, however, when you’re standing over it trying to throw some away it is very finicky.
