I ordered it purposely to use as a mosquito coil burner and it is working perfectly for that purpose. Before that, I had tried making mosquito burner (patent it!) from window wire meshes or chicken net of various sizes. All of them had some problem or other. But this jalli works perfectly as coil burner. When you place lit mosquito coil on the jalli, ember on coil doesn't get extinguished after some time, unlike the burners I made from wire meshes / chicken net.I tried roasting tomato on it to peel off the skin and it also works well for that too.When you place the jalli on gas flame, the mesh turns red but only at the center. Flame doesn't reach outside the center area, but if you place roti on it, flame will spreads and whole jalli turns red as flames covers the whole jalli.Check out the attached pictures to know the size. Those who have bought it but not satisfied with its performance can use it as mosquito coil burner. If you want to use it as a mosquito coil burner, place it on a plate or bowl slightly bigger than the jalli.The size of the jalli is the same as jumbo-sized mosquito coil. I don't know how it saves gas as claimed by sellers of this product.

Quality and functioning as expected

its not that easy to cook on it frankly its not grill but yeah helps to cook on gas.. but nothing fancy ..you have to work around it
