A: 10 cups if you're measuring out 8 oz's - I do know I ordered another larger bag (19 pounds) rather quickly as I do use in my bath regularly ...

**Q: How much should I use in a hot tub holding 1,500 gallons of water?**
A: I used a handful of this for half a gallon water. I would roughly estimate it as  5 lbs per 50 gallons of water.Do the math for 1500 gallons.Ensure it is dissolved well in a small portion of water before you mix it to the larger container.
