Midnight, meaning DARK
Even using 3 coats, at first glance this could be mistaken as black. With a slightly closer look, youโll see a nice deep navy blue in this glaze. Only applying 1-2 coats and it's even darker, & mainly black, but it probably will be patchy with some semi-transparent spots. Best results in my opinion is to go all in with 3 coats. It also has a slight texture; the color is plenty opaque, however, it has an almost grainy texture visually, which I love. I love dark glazes, so I was very happy with the results. If you're looking for something "medium" in value, this is not for you.

Great color and easy to use.
I am fairly new to pottery so I don't have a lot to compare this too. It brushed on well and 3 coats at cone 6 turned out really nice. It doesn't run on its own.

Another Amaco must-have
I love this glaze! I use it with Blue Rutile and the results are stunning. This one doesnโt run too much which is good.

Fires very dark, but paired with metallics is beautiful
I wish more blue would show, but in some light you can still see some areas with dark blues. It still looks beautiful with metallics
