Recessed mounting
This speaker is given as a suitable substitute for the JBL FLIP2, by an authorized JBL repair facility. There is no possible way to make it work as the original speaker is recessed and the mounting holes don't align. I tried elongating the holes but because of the absence of the recession the magnet protrudes, hitting the main CB and preventing closure of the unit. I suggest contacting JBL and their associates to make aware of this issue.

Although it was advertised as alternative for JBL its not even close to being the same.

Très bien !
Acheté pour remplacer un haut-parleur dans une enceinte JBL FLIP 2. Les fixations ne correspondent pas. J'ai du les meuler et coller l'enceinte. Sinon, elle correspond bien en terme de Ø et de hauteur. Le son est correct. Très bien !
