23A Batteries

I buy these for my little doorbell I bought on Amazon and I also give to my grown children who have businesses. They have a bell to alert them someone is entering the business. They use these same batteries. I've read on Amazon people say they can't find these but I found different brands and have bought this brand more than once because I give them away. They work great are a good price and last a long time. Easy to use. No complaints at all.

So far so good. My wife's RAV4's remote control battery does not last more than two months (Duracells) and each Duracell battery runs between $6 and $8 bucks. That means almost as much as what you pay two packs of 6 of these batteries. I installed this battery on November 7th and it has worked fine. We'll se how long it lasts.

Seem to be good batteries. Time will tell more.

After 6 purchases and returns, THIS YEAR , I have given up on Amazon to field reliable small battery suppliers. This supplier is no different than the others, selling low quality batteries that are DOA. My digital Battery Tester confirms that these are either "weak" or "replace". So that's it. If you don't have a battery tester, you are a chump and will get burned by these unscrupulous sellers. You may wonder, 6 purchases in a row of defective batteries is a huge bad streak of luck, right!? Yeah, me too. I verified that the battery tester was functioning correctly by doing a control on known quality batteries. The battery tester worked perfectly. Other buyers have noted that the supposedly 12 volts you are paying for is nowhere near that. Some have even, out of curiosity, opened the batteries to discover a stack of small "button" type batteries, that were repurposed. Those are sure to prematurely fail and internally corrode more rapidly, but they do make a quick buck for the seller, at your expense. If enough buyers refuse to tolerate this nonsense by not blithely accepting shoddy goods, but demanding they get what they pay for, then maybe it will have an impact and force these dirtbag sellers to their knees. Unless a confirmed buyer leaving feedback specifically states they tested these batteries and verify that they are fresh, i.e., actual 12 volts, then mostly what you are reading is from naive and easily-fooled buyers of "they worked" but not much in the way of data to confirm they are fresh, with an actual expiration date related to the date of manufacture. That printed date may be phony also. Buyer BEWARE! These are supposed to be storable for many years before use. Definitely do not buy a significant quantity thinking that will be the case if you have failed to test the batteries first. You have money to throw away? OK, fine. I don't and don't plan on starting that practice.

Great price on these batteries. I have 6 different remotes in the house that all take this battery and the price for the name brand ones are 5X as much. Save some money and get these. They work flawlessly!

The Loopacell A23 23A 12-Volt Alkaline Battery Pack of 10 seemed to be a good deal and were delivered quickly but unfortunately, they DO NOT PRINT AN EXPIRATION DATE ON THE PACKAGE NOR THE BATTERIES THEMSELVES. The description on Amazon says "This product is Brand New and super fresh". I am not sure how to convert “brand new and super fresh” into an actual date.... Therefore, I am not confident that they will have a long shelf life nor long life in any devices. I just received them so there has not been enough time to gauge shelf life nor usable life in any devices. I just wanted to comment on the these not having an expiration date to caution those others who may not want to take the chance of getting a low-quality product. I wanted to believe it was a mistake to not print an expiration date on the batteries nor on the package but I bought several battery types besides these on differing days from Loopacell an all are the same with no expiration information provided. Everything was as promised except voltage on all batteries was only 11.7 v.
