I got this color to try taming the darkness of my hair after using light brown which left my hair redder than I was ready for. This did take the ' in your face' redness out. -Still haven't learned what to do to lighten the Dark reddish brn of the longer hair.

This brand is nice and it works fine but it takes a lot longer than my old brand. I thought I would try this and I did I can't complain about the results but I am going back to my old brand

Caused some itching in scalp. Chemicals of colors killed this henna quality and make it not really healthy.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Be careful if you have gray hair and use products with henna. If it does not have enough indigo, your gray hair will look bright red/orange. I love how this product took the red/orange away, but it did not cover my hair after being left on for 3 hours. After reading about,indigo, which this product has in it, I decided to try it again and leave it on for 4 hours. If you look at the pictures I attached,The first one shows how I started out with the red, the next two show my first application, the last photo shows after 4 hours. You have to put it on really thick and make it like a paste. It seemed to fade after 2 to 3 weeks. I would have got more if it lasted a little longer, but with the added wait time for the color and then how quickly it fades, I went back to a different brand and chose dark brown which gives me very similar results.

After keeping it for 2 hours, there is almost no difference between before and after.
