Longman Nineteen Eighty Four: York Notes Advanced: everything you need to catch up, study and prepare for 2021 assessments and 2022 exams

Just as current today as it was in 1948...can't believe George Orwell predicted 'rewriting history' 'Ministry of Truth' and 'google voice search' 'speak and write tool' and 'Samsung TVs' spying on you' 'Tele speak'...thats only in the first few chapters

The messages in this book are still relevant today. I doubt theres much I can say that hasn't already been said in other reviews except that this book is an all time great and will always stay with me.In terms of using it as a study tool, it was fine, no big sections of notes or anything but it was cheap and cheerful.

About what you would expect from a York Notes Advanced. I would have liked questions on each chapter to help with revision and perhaps more AS/A2/IPQ?Extended Essay exam or coursework questions than what was on offer. Nevertheless, not bad for what it was.

I wasn't in the mood to read 1984 since I didn't have to make a book report but I had to complete a test, I just read this book and I got a 20/20 HIGHEST score in my class. It's smaller than 1984 and it makes a lot of links with society so you no longer have to do that. (That book was study buddy no1)

Arrived quickly although I thought it was the actual book and not a study guide thing. My fault for not reading the info properly
