I absolutely love this item! it was a nice challenge to put together (which is why I put 3 stars for the "easy to assemble". it looks beautiful and I love how it has multiple options for the color of the balls so you can choose your own design in that aspect. One of my favorite musicals is Cats so that was a plus for the melody!

The media could not be loaded. I bought this after looking for a music bod for my grandmother. Discovered how magical wooden music boxes are and bought myself one. This was supposed to be built at work while waiting for docs to load but I couldn’t wait. I never had legos as a kid built my first set a couple months ago loved it and hyper fixated on building stuff. And this was absolutely perfect. My finger are absolutely killing me from shoving pieces onto tiny metal rods and my table is full of tiny wax shavings. I want my office and rv to be covered in these. I am buying like three more I love this.

Start off by saying this project was extremely satisfying and fun to build. The instructions were very easy to follow and the finished product looks and works great. My only complaint is the music box itself isn’t the best. It works okay but not great.

This was actually easy to assemble and build. Some pieces were very weak and broke during assembly but they give you extra pieces in case that happens. (This doesn’t apply to EVERY piece so still be careful!) directions were easy to read but I would still review the steps before actually Doing it because I spent a solid 15 min trying to disassemble a piece because the placement measurement wasn’t correct. Finished it in one sitting and it turned out beautiful! Only con I have is the waxing…. It gets messy and breaks off so def lay something down before doing it HOWEVER!! Do not skimp on this part. It is very important and thoroughly wax the wooden pieces that says you need to wax. You won’t regret it

The media could not be loaded. This wasn't too hard to get together just make sure you follow the directions. This is the 1st one I have done and now I'm hooked. 10/10 would buy again.

I bought this for my 44 year old son who enjoys jigsaw puzzles and so I thought he might like building something a little different. I had previously given him one of the wooden marble maze puzzles too. This music box was smaller than I expected so really looked like it was probably hard to complete and he did say it required a lot of care to build and not break the wood parts. But the finished product is just beautiful ... very intricate looking and works beautifully! His 12 year old son was so proud of it and came running out to show me what his dad had made!

The media could not be loaded. It took from roughly 9am to 4:30pm with breaks. I wanted to take my time on the coloring but got antsy towards the end putting it together, so I have a few adjustments that will need to be made (you will notice parts stick in portions of the video). Otherwise, I really enjoyed this and will definitely look into the others offered as soon as I’m able.4/5 sturdiness5/5 value10/5 funIt’s as difficult as you make it.

The product was a bit difficult to build. Gifted it to my girlfriend and she had trouble assembling it. Still though it looked great as a decoration

Like any craft it was a little fiddly at times to make, but I got it all put together and it looks so cute! I like how it moves, plus it plays "Memory" from Cats, which I love!

My grand daughter loved this. She is 12 and assembled most of it herself with some help from her dad.Plays beautifully and looks great.

Very nice product, well built and sturdy. Take your time to put it together, sand a tiny bit every piece that goes together (sand paper is provided), and you’ll be happy with the final product. I was even surprised to see that some delicate pieces were provided in more number than required. I am about to purchase other models!

My 13 was able to build this alone and built another one with her younger sibling helping. There are a lot of small parts and it takes a lot of patience to build properly. The finished product is functional and looks nice on the shelf as a display item.The instructions are sometimes not the most clear so you sometimes need to be able to problem solve what they want done.Is a very good gift for older children or adults that like to and can build intricate models.
